   We went for Santa Paws event. Couldn't be happier to spend time in better place with my boys and our dog. Staff is very welcoming, breakfast buffet was truly delicious with so many options to choose from. But the highlight of our visit was Santa Paws-old man was very chatty and sweet with our dog, spoiled him to bits with praise, treats, presents and cuddles! Truly unforgettable experience. Big thank you to the team and their efforts to make our visit such memorable family experience!

   What a lovely welcome by a young lass called Chelsea who also served and helped us so well. 10/10 Chelsea. We ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Baguette whilst frankly at only £10.79 with chips which were still hot, well done kitchen, appeared to be great value although there were uneatable bits of meat in it, almost as if the kitchen was using up offcuts. Shame really but otherwise tasted fine. Looking at the huge menu one could bring several generations of a family and everyone would get something that they liked. The cosy atmosphere in the corner where we were seated was very pleasant even more so when a request to turn off an intrusive TV was done. For a chain restaurant therefore it was OK.

   I wish I had noted the name of the people who I spoke to, however, everyone was quick efficient and handled everything I wanted. Five out of five. Would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone visiting Livingston. The cost was a bit high but that is my fault because I booked the night before. Room was nice, shower was great. Checking in was straightforward, no issues. Dinner was nice. Breakfast was nice. I'll be staying again in a couple of weeks time.

   Absolutely great service, we had the festive meal the table was set up lovely. Staff very attentive and friendly. Overall hotel and bar fantastic and we will definitely back again, I will also be passing on to friends and family to book here. Thanks for a great stay.

   Staff are friendly and helpful. In particular Shawn and Kyle. We have a girls meet up on a Tuesday evening for a cup of tea, and a snack of dessert, breaded mushroom, chips and occasionally one of our friends has a vegetarian carvery. The food is always piping hot and tasty. But it’s definitely the staff helpfulness that has us coming back every Tuesday. The banter we have with the lads is just class.
