My husband and I enjoyed a lovely late lunch this afternoon. The two ladies who served us were delightful, friendly & bubbly - a credit to Bakers & Baristas.
Julieta is a delight so helpful friendly and welcoming and the coffee and rhubarb and custard muffin were both delicious
I always come back to this place after college while waiting for my bus. The staff are always warm and friendly! The place is nice and clean as well. I haven't tried any of the food, so can't comment on that. But the drinks are always made well — my go-to is the chai latte :)
Muffins are out of this world, lots of choice for sweet, savoury and drinks. Great options for gluten free, veggie and vegan too.
They looked short staffed so service was slow, not their fault though. One staff member did a lot of holding walls up and not actually doing anything productive, most tables needed cleared/wiped and she didn't do any of it without direct instruction from one of the baristas. The coffee was good and I was glad to see a plant based sweet option. Shame it was the only thing on the menu that was vegan. The lemon/blueberry muffin was OK, quite stodgy but edible. It's nice to have options outside of the chains in the mall but I won't be rushing back.

Amazing place, very comfortable for family with kids and the tuffee caramel muffin super delicious.
The muffins are really nice, I can't lie. But are they worth the ridiculously long wait time? Unsure. The time to be served and then get what you ordered once you have been served is insane. The sandwiches are extremely overpriced and not at all worth it. £4.80 for a ham and cheese baguette and it's not even buttered. Just go to Greggs and spend a pound less, you'll be glad you did.
