Lovely spot for a bite and a cup of coffee! We came from the hotel Royal Leonardo Haymarket, it's just around the corner. Ordered a cappuccino and the banana bread, fantastic!

lovely little cafe! we were lucky to stumble upon it while walking. i had the chai latte and halloumi flatbread, both were delicious. the chai latte might be one of the best I’ve ever had! thank you to the lovely staff who shared great suggestions for things to see in edinburgh. definitely worth the visit!

small and cozy coffee shop, my wife and I stumbled upon. We were glad we did! The sweetest lady took our order and despite how busy it was for a monday worked hard to get everyone's food and drinks out in a timely fashion! I believe there were only about 7-8 small tables that could fit 2-4 people. I ordered the banana bread (pictured) and a honey and rosemary latte that was delicious!

Cute little alternative brunch spot. Lovely welcoming staff and great food. Good value for money and great choices for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. We got the brown butter Turkish poached egg with yoghurt and the maple bacon french toast.

Such a lovely little place! The staff were super nice and helping, the food anazing and the music with great taste. I totally recommend trying the vegan haggis, it was the highlight of the plate!

Looking for a tasty and cleanish breakfast, MILK was able to provide. Choosing the Chorizo Breakfast served with poached egg, sourdough toast, spinach and chimichurri and a few other other additions. The dish was well seasoned and fresh with a pleasant kick of heat but nothing too unmanageable. The coffee served at a good drinking temperature by friendly staff. If you are looking for a good quality breakfast for a reasonable price, I would recommend this cafe.

The interior is absolutely lovely and the staff is nice. It’s an interesting concept where the bar stand is not turned away from you - you watch the barista prepare your coffee and it’s like sharing a kitchen with them - quite nice! Giving 3 stars for 2 reasons: the coffee was mediocre and served in a paper cup even though we dined in; and it was a little dirty, though we did visit in the last our before closure.

Small place, great food! We had the chorizo and vegan plates. The fresh orange juice comes from a bought bottle, it was good, but not that fresh that squeezed directly.. would come back!

Lovely little cafe with an excellently curated selection of breakfast items to get your day started. Visited by myself on a Friday morning and the one server was incredibly busy already but was very attentive and friendly regardless. I ordered the veggie breakfast and oat milk latte and loved both! The chef put so much care into my meal, it was just fantastic, exactly what I needed to fuel my day. Would definitely recommend this business 100%.
