    Asked for an orange and lemonade. Young barmaid looked confused. Old angry blonde intervened and said 'They didn't have orange, only lime...' I said 'okay' but noticed that barmaid had poured a pint of Lemonade. I ordered Madri instead, but interfering blonde said 'but you've already got a Lemonade'. I said 'I didn't order a lemonade' which seemed to mean nothing to this pair. I finally got a Madri, no explanation or apology. These people dont know how to be civil or what a limerick is. Laughable.

    Traditional pub (hard to find nowadays), fair selection of beers & spirits at reasonable prices, good atmosphere, mostly friendly, funny locals, good jukebox & tvs for the sport. Disabled toilet on the level & others up the stairs. If up that way again, I will definitely go back.

    Really guid wee pub, not a rip off. The staff are sound and always look after the customers well. Pints are good!

    Well priced drinks. Friendly staff. Spotless ladies' toilets with supplies available - tampons, deodorant, tissues etc. Music too loud for easy conversation.
