I love this place. My partner and I live across the road and we regularly come here. It feels like going on holiday. Donβt expect fancy, decadence or anything remotely trendy β itβs simple, home-style Italian food. Itβs the type of place you come for its atmosphere, which feels like stepping back in time. The decor hasnβt changed in what feels like decades, but thatβs why we adore it. Itβs authentic, cozy and if you play your cards right, Bruno might pour you a Limoncello at the end of your meal :)

Often quiet in the restaurant but amazing food and pizza. We often buy for collection and it's the best pizza in Edinburgh. Base is thin, crispy and chewy like a proper Italian pizza should be.

Best egg bagel iβve ever had in my life. No joke. Bread was nice and fresh. You could taste a delicious hint of olive oil in the eggs. Iβm definitely coming back.

Popped in for an early dinner on a Friday night and had an incredible meal. We each had the calzone (suffice to say, Iβm really glad Iβd not had breakfast or lunch!) and then shared a tiramisu for dessert. Very friendly staff, great pricing and the waiter skipped the tip button (no pressure) and was surprised when I asked him to go back so we could leave one because the service was so good. Iβve been here before solo and had a range of dishes including breakfast and lunch and both were good but tonight was something else.

We showed up with 1 hungry baby and 1 hungry toddler. Service and food were amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. The best pizza in Edinburgh for sure.

This place is a hidden gem! Amazing authentic Italian food. Very good value for money and very generous portion sizes. The owner chatted to us and is clearly very passionate about what he does. BYOB also which was great. Definitely be going back.

I love this place so much! My mum and I have been enjoying the lovely food from Bruno for over 7 years now and weβre never disappointed. They give you large plates of food so the price matches that and especially the quality. They used to have a pistachio soufflΓ© dessert that I absolutely adored and couldnβt find anywhere else in Edinburgh but unfortunately theyβre not sold here anymore. The staff are lovely and they always have nice chat!

Tiny authentic Italian cafe and restaurant with lovely athmosphere and service. My 11-yo loves the pizza (best in the world according to him). I had pasta and loved every bit of it.
