   Visited here for the first time. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had a cosy vibe immediately. We were served by Maggie and Lauchlan, who were attentive, polite and efficient. Really enjoyed my chicken leek and cheddar pie. The drinks were nice too. Would definitely go back. There is a lovely bar area if you just want a drink. Really enjoyed it.

   Had the trio Roast. Staff were very polite. I ordered my Roast and then proceeded to wait 45 minutes for it. I went back and asked if it was on its way and within two minutes it turned up so they obviously forgotten plated something up very quickly as it was okay as a roast beef was a little bit overcooked chicken was great. Small piece of pork roast potatoes weren’t very good think they may have been frozen oven roast potatoes. Very small pop of gravy which actually was nice probably not worth the £26 price tag though.

   Perfect cosy food for the autumnal days with a welcoming atmosphere and lovely staff. A shout out to Nicky who served us perfectly cooked lamb in a red wine jus and Balmoral chicken - a classic very well done (it was the special of the day but should be a permanent resident on the menu). Finished with sticky toffee pudding with a lovely twist of rum flavours.

   I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience. I had a three course meal which was scrumptious. But There was no Rhubarb or apple crumble for the day.. my favourite pudding. The service was excellent which contributed to the best dinning experience. Staff are attentive. Plenty car parking.

   Dinner out done right Loved this pub to eat at. Vibrant garden on a Saturday night with people enjoying a drink and good time by the looks of it. Inside was very nice and the food was to die for. I had the lamb and was asked how I would like it cooked and this is something you don’t often get in finer dining establishments. Very very impressed. Thank you to Emily and Alex who served us.

   From Yorkshire and this was embarrassing all four of us received the world's smallest meat selection for our roast..it was laughable, so tiny and not worth £20. The sad part is it tasted nice, just sort your portions out

   What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful decor with a great patio, and mountain side view. The food was delicious, tasty, hot and fresh. I had the chicken with baked mac and cheese and my friend had the lamb.The staff was friendly and helpful. Had the honor of having a conversation with one of the staff Gav. Such a pleasant person and enjoyed the conversation with him, he was very helpful. If you are visiting Edinburgh, I would recommend you try this restaurant.

   Absolutely Delicious! Very very nice, food prepared and cooked to order by an actual chef and excellent staff. The scallops were particularly good, This is the food I like to eat not the reheated microwave slop you find in nearly every pub/eating house throughout Britain. A pleasure to eat here and recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

   Great food, friendly staff, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. A gastro pub with the feel of an upmarket hotel bar minus the extortionate prices! The place has a cosy atmosphere and you can actually have a conversation without being drowned out by loud music. Loved it!
