Had a very mixed experience here, the food was definitely better than average. Our group had a mix of dishes, the cabbage went down really well as did the ragu. Other dishes like the scallops people felt that the flavours were not really that nice. Overall, marginally better than average. The service wasn’t good at all, to be specific no one asked us whether everything was ok with our food and despite multiple people at our table having empty glasses no one asked or checked whether we would like any more drinks. It wasn’t particularly busy and staff were hanging around the bar rather than being attentive. Plates and empty glasses were left on the table for too long and not cleared throughout the meal.

Service was terrible throughout the evening because of the following reasons: No one asked how the food was No one came over to see if we needed anymore drinks Once attention was gained it took over 20 minutes for a simple beer which was served in a bottle. The most annoying thing after the very little service from the staff all evening a bill was placed on our table at 2145, without asking for it or if we wanted anymore drinks. Considering our booking was for 2000, it was pretty clear they wanted the 8 person table out and their 12.5% tip in their pocket. The even worst thing was after the less than basic service we had all evening another person came to take our payment less than 2 minutes after we paid. Clearly they value payment and tipping above anything else. Going on to the food it was just ok for the price tag. Dumplings tasted like bland mashed potatoes. The aubergine small plate and duck ragu was delicious but the bad service over looked that. I only had an ok evening due to the poor service and the hurry for them to get us out as quick as possible. Would have liked a more welcoming atmosphere especially the mandatory 12.5% tip

We visited the place for a casual drink and a chat. My friend had a small glass of house rosé, and I ordered a non-alcoholic mojito (which wasn’t on the menu, but the staff kindly offered to make it). The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly. When it came to paying, I was a little surprised by the bill. There was a %12.5 service charge and a £1 donation added, and my non-alcoholic mint drink with ice was £9. In total, it came to £20 for just two drinks, one of which had no alcohol. While I enjoyed the setting and service, I personally found the prices to be quite high for what we had.

We had a great time at Snobby's for a birthday celebration with 15 people. The owner Nick looked after us all night, alongside his friendly and helpful team. The space is tastefully styled yet relaxed and the food is just incredible! We had a selection of the whole menu which came on small sharing plates. The portions were generous and my personal highlights were the braised lamb and cured fish. Make sure you book before visiting to avoid disappointment!

Best wine place I’ve visited in Bristol with nicely picked wine and knowledgeable sommelier perfectly matched our group’s taste on wine. More importantly extraordinary staff (thanks Jessica) made our gathering into another level. Amazing restaurant!!

I ate hear on Saturday night with my 4 friends. We had an amazing experience. Unfortunately they were fully booked inside, so we had to sit outside, but they had an outdoor heater and lots of blankets. The food was so delicious! Presented well, something different and lovely flavours. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming! I’d definitely recommend! ⭐️

5 star are not enough! They definitely deserve more! The food is amazing and the atmosphere too! Jump the head chef is not only a great chef (his food is really special!) but also a very kind person. We go to the Snobby’s regularly and cannot recommend it more! The owner, head chef, every single member of the staff make you feel like at home. Delicious Italian food and wine accompanied by a very fun atmosphere. Thank you again for the great experience. See you again soon!

We had a great evening in this splendid independent Bristol restaurant and wine bar . The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink they are serving. The small plate meals are a great mix of southern Italian dishes lovingly served up by their chef JP and his excellent team in the kitchen. Nick (the owner) has a wide and varied selection of quality wines. The atmosphere is lovely, capturing the charm of Chandos road with its long culinary history. Thoroughly recommend.

Quite simply the best meal I’ve had in Bristol. We ordered a selection of small plates, a side and a pizza to share between two and every single dish was delicious. The depth of flavour was impressive and all the dishes complemented each other perfectly. Great wine list and upbeat atmosphere, with the friendliest, most enthusiastic service. Absolutely can’t wait to go back.
