   Sadly zero stars is not an option. This has to be the worst after sales & servicing I've ever experienced. Good luck contacting the workshop as I had to get the manufacture VW involved due to the poor customer service at John Clark. On the plus side VW head office were great.

   Warranty work on my VW Transporter to replace a faulty diverter valve & was carried out as agreed in a timely manner & delivered to my home and very grateful for this. Later the oil warning light came on to say (remove oil, workshop) when I located a level ground it was in fact slightly above the top notch from what I gather this sensor is sensitive but it did correctly alert me to the level warning ⚠️, I have not driven my Transporter since as not to do any damage and the van is going to have an oil change and new filter fitted, there is a display on the van dashboard but I think a hard copy manual would be of benefit to the owner.

   Quoted me 700 to fix drive shaft (just needed new bolts and bolted back in) another garage round the corner sent someone round and did the work for £120 and car is running perfectly. Not sure where 700 came from, had one fully replaced in the past and total cost was 250. Also got a full service done in January then mid feb I had to get an oil change, garage that done the change said it wasnt done during service. Tried to call but nobody ever answers the phones, defo wont be back

   AVOID AVOID AVOID I wish I'd read the other reviews of how bad this company is... They scratched the tailgate paintwork of my van, which I immediately noticed on collection. (They had attempted to cover it up with touch-up paint.) I asked to speak to the manager and he came out with another member of staff and they just completely denied it was them, meaning there was nothing I could do. I can't prove it was them as I have no before photos or video upon dropping the van off. (But I know every mark on the body of that van as it was so expensive for me, and I'd spent a good half hour staring at and cleaning that panel days before dropping it off as I swapped the numberplate!) I took the van home as I had no choice. Only to then also find they hadn't completed the work properly. Only the base of the heated seat had been fixed not the back. I called to ask to speak to the manager again, as well as filled out their online feedback form asking for a callback. And noone has got back to me over a week later. I can't believe VW associates themselves with this company, they're behaviour is disgusting. **EDIT** They finally called me back after they said they received this negative review (and the one I posted on Trustpilot) They continued to deny any paintwork damage, or answer why they'd chosen to not call me back previously. He only asked if I wanted them to take another look at the incorrectly fixed heated seat. I said no to this offer, as I've been left in a position where I'm completely unable to trust this company, and I would be more comfortable paying another garage again to do the work properly than have to deal with them further.

   Michael provided us excellent service, right from responding to our initial reservation of the campervan, through to handing over the keys 5 days later. He patiently gave us a thorough and knowledgeable demonstration of all the van’s features, and helped us through the purchase process. Very quick turn around on the van, getting it serviced, MOTed and valeted within a couple of days, allowing us to go camping with it immediately. Very pleased!

   Certain staff that have been here longer than the furniture and need shot. I'm not sure if he's pulling the wool over his bosses eyes, but this individual has been providing shocking customer service for years and left a bad taste in so many peoples mouths when looking to buy a vw van. As there are limited options for buying vw commercial, some will see past and buy anyway as they have no choice. But rest assured this rude arrogant narcistic individual has cost vw 1000s of sales over the years.

   We purchased a used van from Clark Commercials Edinburgh, unfortunately the van was not right for us and it was returned. All of my dealings for the purchase and subsequent return were dealt with via email & phone by Robbie Dougal as we live some distance away. Throughout the whole process Robbie was fantastic, with prompt, friendly and helpful communications and he arranged for a swift refund to be processed. His customer service was excellent throughout.
