Broke down on 30th Jan, needed taken to garage, after contacting 5 other garages D & G were able to take my car and had it fixed the next day even tho it was new years eve. Friendly team and wasn't over charged on parts. Will use them again.
Whilst working in Edinburgh my van was displaying an engine oil fault light. After ringing around local garages D&G were able to get me in at short notice. Excellent service.
D and G really pulled me out of a hole! After having massively been let down by Kwik-Fit the previous day. I called them up at 1725 on Monday evening to try and get an appointment to get my brake pads/discs changed. They told me to take the van in the next morning around 8am. I dropped the van off with them, they called me 2 hours later with a very reasonable price and text me at 1217 to say the van was ready to be collected. Fabulous service, wonderful helpful staff and super efficient. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommended to anyone.
Brilliant service, trustworthy and great value. After Halfords we’re going to charge me a fortune for a new washer pump. The team at D&G Stevenson Road were brilliant.
D&G took my car in at short notice when I broke down (clutch failed). Turned it around really quickly and kept me informed. I'd happily recommend them and use them again.
Be very careful!!!!! If I could give less than one star I would! Went back to this garage after the very good customer service and work on my/our cars last year. This place has changed, with the tricks and deceit that is usually attributed to the RAC and the AA who suggest that 'parts need to be changed and replaced that are dangerous'...... but actually do not! A new battery was replaced without any notification or discussion and £200 added quickly to the invoice. Were the new tyres necessary? Were the brake pads in fact in good condition? After looking through the bill and it's content we could see that items had been added without our knowledge! I/we obviously 'discussed matters' with the garage who eventually backed down, replaced our old battery and returned the £200 they had charged for the new one we did not require or request! I hoped for better but as a result, we will not be going back and we will inform all who we come across of this experience and advise them to look elsewhere! Very, very disappointing! Update: After posting the review above, I received a response which asked me to send the vehicle registration number and the receipt number which I did. I have heard nothing!!!!!
Broke down with flat/burst tyre was supposed to be booked in here but wasn’t but they squeezed me in and changed tyre in 20 mins so I could get back to work. I just had a really good experience the men on the desk were friendly so would definitely use again and recommend.
I been reading all the review but I wanted to go ahead with the MOT appointment, I been on holiday and I wanted to do the mot as well in the meantime, my car was already fixed by my mechanic, so it should be pass 100% and they just failed, I do have even the receipt from doing the bar linkage and they put it as a fail.. that’s not nice. Avoid them as much as you can!!!
Cost-effective, 15 min labor examination of brake only need 75 pound (no repair), wonderful experimence, I will sure go there again. Updates: they offer me a price with more than 1000 pounds for fixing the brake, while I finished it in another store with less than 300 pounds.
