Fanatic wetherspoons (one of the best I've been in) two lovely upper balcony's with plenty seating areas, looking over the old stage. Great selection of drinks, including local ales Fast friendly service from the staff and the food is pretty decent for a spoons and also if your on a bit of a budget

This pub is one of the most beautiful ones I visited during my stay in Scotland. I really enjoyed my dinner — the hamburger was delicious, and you can refill your cup of hot chocolate after buying one. You will really enjoy eating here!

Great food can't say the same about service our onion rings sat at serving counter for half hour. The servers would lift them up and put them back and when we said they was ours they were arguing to see who would bring them to table. Other than that was nice meal.

What a beautiful setting love how you've saved this total theatre. The character inside the building blew my mind. Staff and service was amazing. 5 of us visited from Newcastle we all had the large Scottish breakfast. Quality of food was brilliant. I highly recommend anyone should visit. Thank you for the refillable coffees.

Always very tasty meals at sensible prices. Lovely old cinema building with lots of old cinema memorabilia. I used to work in a cinema when I was a teenager so it bought back many memories. I had a halloumi burger and my glass of wine came with it, great deal and very tasty.

Fantastic venue! One of the cooler Wetherspoons I've been to. The theme was really well built and the vibe was great. Affordable as always. Staff were friendly as well. My only issue was that my table wasn't properly cleaned and had a little stain hence the 4 star. Overall great venue will definitely visit again.

The interior is quite impressive, very spacious place, friendly staff will bring you all the food you order at once. The amount and quality is acceptable, just enough to fill the stomach. The burger was good, although BigMac would be probably more delicious and cheaper. Pizza appetizers could be cooked from frozen, but still not bad.

Very good. A beautiful old cinema. Probably the best Wetherspoons I've seen. People are happy to give the business a hard time but they forget that they employ 30000 people and restore/curate old buildings. The original cinema here was, itself, a partial conversion of the County Hotel, the site of which is marked on the 1876 OS Map and a map of 1846. The present grade B listed building was originally the Caley Picture House, having opened on 1 January 1923 with Game of Life – a silent film. In 1928, the building was enlarged for the new ‘talkies’. Several incarnations since then have included nightclubs and a live music venue – which closed after a farewell party on 31 December 2013. Well worth a visit!
