   Go to this garage if you want to: 1. Have your TPMS sensor broken during a tire change — without being informed. 2. Return to get it fixed, only to be told by the Assistant Manager that it’s “not their responsibility,” (it is) that “these things just happen,” (they do, if you're crap) and that you’re “supposed to change the sensors every time you change a tire.” (you're not) Oh, and be quoted £100 for replacement. 3. Finally speak to the Manager, who agrees to replace it free of charge and books you in for 4:30pm. 4. Take time off work to attend, arrive on time, and be told the “phone lines were down” so they couldn’t call to cancel — because they’re too busy to fit you in (despite the repair taking just 15 minutes) 5. Return the following day, get the damage repaired, then discover the tire has been inflated to 49 PSI (should be 38, maximum 50). Was the goal to blow it up lads? 6. Ask for it to be deflated to the appropriate level, drive home and find they have NEGLECTED TO PUT THE VALVE CAP BACK ON. Honestly, the biggest waste of my time - wouldn't trust this garage with topping up the wiper fluid. Based on my experience, the team can only be described as incompetent, opportunistic tools. Another bonus, if you want to sit and listen to their second-rate patter and hurling swear words back and forth, I highly recommend sitting in the manky waiting room with the paper-thin walls.

   Had my car in for a full service & MOT. Used these guys a few times before and never any issues. This time was no different. Jack went above and beyond to help me out when I got a bit stressed, his service was absolutely amazing, great guy! I will continue to use these guys for any future issues with my car, can’t fault at all! Thank you to Jack again for being amazing!!

   In the halfords store they made it all sound great, however I put the car in for an MOT at 13.30 there was no contact from them at 17.15 I went to see what was happening with my car. To be told they had been to busy to call. After that I was told it had failed and required repairs. Their computer was not working and After an hour waiting I eventually paid for this in advance being told the parts would be delivered in the morning and I could pick up my car in the afternoon. I have just called again (13.00) only to be told that the parts hadn't arrived yet so they have had my car for 24 hours now and I will still have to wait. I have found this experience down right saddening and the professionalism of the garage deplorable.now I'm waiting for God knows how long. Very unsatisfied customer

   Jack behind the desk was fantastic and friendly helped me out straight away with my new tyre as iwas a desperate need for a ASAP and they sealed the alloy wheel. absolutely 100% amazing customer service would highly recommend this place for jacks customer service and banter alone made me feel like a valued customer on my first visit here. Owen was fantastic and explained everything he was doing and showed me his work first class.

   I had excellent support from Wos the manager who made me feel valued as a customer. He reassured me and had a great way of explaining to the kids how the mechanics of the car work (I even understood!) It was so helpful for him to make the time. I'd definitely recommend National Tyres in Livingston and will be a returning customer, though hopefully not to ofter!!! Kyle the mechanic was great too- a friendly service all round and much appreciated. THANK YOU !

   I paid to get 3 new tyres fitted and also to balance the tyres. The guy came back 2 hours later telling me they did not balance the tyres. The reason was ridiculous as they said they couldn't do it because my van was too big to fit on the ramp. However to balance the tyres, you don't have to put the van on a ramp, but take off each tyre and balance it separately. They basically let me go with unbalanced tyres which is bad and can cause damage to the van. On top, they didn't put back the rhimms on the wheels, and despite of how dirty they were, they still put them on the front seat, one of which was broken and I couldn't put it back. So I am disappointed by the service and the negligence of the staff. Now I have gone to a different garage to balance the tyres which prevented me from using the van for the time being and I was getting ready to travel early in the morning, but have to now wait until they get my tyres balanced. Also I was unable to use the van for work and I was supposed to work that day, but the van was practically unusable, so I lost money because of poor service by national tyres company.

   I have used National for many years as my brother used to work for them - but sadly I was extremely disappointed in their lack of service and accommodation this week - got a puncture and took tyre to the garage at 5:50pm - 10 mins before closing and they turned me away. Thankfully a more considerate kiwi fit next door - within 8 mins of their closing time - were happy to oblige and still had it sorted by 6pm Shame on National ! Looks like I’ll be passing them by in the future.

   Contacted this local branch as I suspected I needed a new exhaust. Very friendly and efficient service. They quickly got my car booked in for an inspection and showed me pictures from underneath the car to explain which sections needed replaced. All work completed 2 days later and cost slightly lower than original quote due to job taking less time. Excellent service. I will definitely recommend them and they will be my first point of contact in the future.

   The branch manager and staff done me proud today. Was very helpful and to be honest was a pleasant surprise having a mechanic take the time to talk about my car needs with me. Very quick and efficient and will defo be using again 100%. I waited for my tires and they gave me a free health and 5 point check. Very happy customer.
