Set up account with this branch. Tried to purchase first of three kitchens that I require for contracts. Rates vary wildly depending on who answers the phone. Never had a problem with any other Howden's branch so problem appears to be specific to Anniesland branch. I will take my business elsewhere.
Great service with clear and detailed explanations. We purchased a kitchen sink and tap, both of excellent quality.
Several kitchen units had to be replaced because they were chipped or faulty. Our brand new hob didn’t work and we had to wait a week for it to be repaired, before it had even been used. Then our integrated microwave also malfunctioned and it’s now been 2 weeks and we are still waiting for the manager to fulfil one of his promised call backs. He does not return calls and our family has been left in limbo after spending a huge amount of money by buying flooring etc in addition to the kitchen. The customer service is appalling. Every time you phone you are told the manager is on the shop floor and will call you back, but he doesn’t bother. We just want working appliances.

I utilised Howdens Anniesland kitchen design service: 1) They haven't respond in a timely manner. 2) The trades they supplied me with, references have turned out to be false. 3) I am getting differing information both from alternative branches of Howdens and from the subsequent trades people I have sourced and vetted directly myself. Not impressed and a lot of time has been wasted.
I understand this branch is busy but I was told that my kitchen plans would be ready a week ago, I’ve tried to phone and email to speak to someone and get an updated timeframe but am just told that they are busy and I’ll get a phone back… which doesn’t happen. Really disappointed as they were my first choice for a kitchen but will be going elsewhere now as they are literally uncontactable.
