Extremely Disappointing Experience with Wren Kitchens My experience with Wren has been a series of repeated mistakes, poor communication, and unauthorised changes, all of which have completely undermined my confidence in them as a business. The most serious issue arose during the final sign-off of our installation. I discovered that the under-cabinet lighting—chosen during the design appointment—was missing. Our fitter confirmed that he had carried out all the electrical work for it, but the lighting itself had never been delivered. He assumed we had changed our minds. When I checked the contract, I found a line buried in the paperwork stating that the lighting had been removed. At no point did I agree to this, nor was it ever discussed. This is the second time something was altered without my consent, only discovered at installation. When I contacted the Paisley branch, the designer who handled our kitchen initially tried to imply that I had requested the change, and when that failed, told me that because we “weren’t charged for it,” we would now need to come in and pay for it. The attitude and lack of accountability were extremely disappointing. This wasn’t the first major issue. Earlier in the installation, the splashback delivered for our black-and-gold kitchen was stainless steel, despite me clearly requesting a glass splashback during the design appointment. I had to go to the showroom to resolve the problem. While the General Manager, Jennifer, did her best, I still had to source a replacement myself from B&Q—at almost double the price it would have cost had Wren processed the order correctly. There was also an issue with our hob. The wrong one was sent, apparently due to incorrect manufacturer labelling. Although our fitter arranged for a replacement before informing us, the new hob wasn’t scheduled to arrive until 21 November—despite the kitchen supposedly being completed by the 7th. This inconvenience is still ongoing. When the hob was eventually delivered, I received an email saying they had no fitter available to install it. Then, without any prior notice and despite me explaining several times that I was not currently living at the property, they sent someone to the house. The only way I found out was through a phone call from the fitter who was already at my door while I was at work, telling me someone was “meant to have called.” We were also never offered the final sign-off design meeting that Wren claims should take place before the contract is signed. Instead, we were rushed over the phone, told the designer was going on holiday, and pressured to sign the contract immediately via email or risk not receiving the kitchen before Christmas. This now feels extremely concerning in hindsight, given the later unauthorised changes. Even waste disposal was unclear. We assumed this was included, but our fitter asked whether Wren had sent a waste-collection slot—something we had never been informed about. I had to make a complaint before they eventually arranged an uplift for the leftover materials. Individually, some of these issues might have been forgivable. But collectively—and especially when items are removed or altered without consent—this begins to feel underhanded and deceitful. What should have been an exciting process has been completely ruined, and I would struggle to recommend Wren to anyone. When I was finally transferred to their “snagging team” their overall response was “yeah you should have read the contract better“ no explanation as to why someone was in removing part of the kitchen or and on two separate occasions I have now had to contact the finance company to initiate an investigation just to get someone on my side to help resolve this, as I am still not living in my home. I have spent countless hours on hold at work, writing emails, and chasing Wren for answers. Do yourself a favour and avoid the stress and hassle of dealing with Wren.

We ordered our kitchen 2 weeks ago after going about 5 times to make sure we liked it lol. Gordon the designer was brilliant as I had asked him loads of questions on our previous visits and he made changes that we wanted and offered suggestions that we used. Would definately recommend him

A great service from start to finish. Designer was very knowledgeable and helpful. Delivery was communicated well and came on time and the drivers were very helpful. Customer Services made it very quick and easy to obtain replacement parts for anything that wasn’t quite right

We ordered our kitchen from the Paisley showroom, and found the whole process really easy. The branch staff (especially Rebecca) made the whole thing really simple. We were able to make changes with no fuss. Delivery came exactly when expected and the men bringing everything in were very careful with everything. The fitters were amazing, going above and beyond to fit our kitchen exactly as we imagined. Speaking to customer services was a pleasure too, nothing was a problem, and any replacement parts were ordered, delivered and fitted with no fuss at all. Would absolutely recommend Wren, we have been very impressed with everything.

Once the salesman got the order, he wasn't interested in any issues I had and kept on saying contact head office. Sometimes phoning is not the same as meeting a person face to face, especially if they have sold you an expensive kitchen. I don't think I will be recommending Wren Kitchens to anyone I know.

The kitchen of my dreams! Beautiful white Shaker with Duck Egg Blue, just exactly how I had it in my head, transposed into the reality! Quality standard is excellent, finish is just beautiful! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
