Went to this shop as was needing a new oven Found staff very unhelpful and everything I enquired about was out of stock i was that desperate for a cooker/oven i asked could I get a display one and was told they can't sell display items Very disappointed

Went in today as my oven was delivered dented from the inside. Usually, the staff were amazing, and a woman approached me. It's not what you say to people, but how you say it, you do not know who you are talking to or any problems they may have. She could have handled things a lot better. After an injury, I suffer from complex PTSD among other things, I usually have someone with me, but my husband could not come with me, I eventually had to tell her, something I should not have had to do, I told her i get extremely anxious with situations like this, she said she wasent making me feel anxious!!! How would she know? I am a good customer and usually have not had any problems. The male staff were always amazing. If this woman is the only person in the shop, I would defenetly walk out, The way you approach people and speak to them is extremely important, she defenetly has no people skills and defenetly not professional.

Placed an order for Upright Freezer. Delivered said item, but would not change door left to right. So was told I would get Β£40.00 put into my account in 7 days, 14 days and phone calls still waiting for said money. Maybe when I ring again I will ask for the interest the 40 pound has made plus money for call I had to make again asking for my money. NOT THEIR MONEY MINE which they owe me.

Usually good but staff stand in groups and only ask if you need help after a long time. Some customer service training needed.

Went to Irvine store to buy a mobile phone as they were out of stock in Kilmarnock and I wanted it that day. Guy said he didn't have the right staff member to help me and to come back tomorrow. I gave ARGOS my Β£300.

Went in to curryβs Irvine with the view to purchase a new microwave .saw the one I wanted and a member of staff called Emma was just we few meters away . I called her said I would like this microwave to which the reply was βoh someone will be with you shortly β as the store was almost empty of both staff and customers I was slightly perplexed at the response as she was hovering beside the door she then came and checked the item was in stock !! To which she confirmed it was I wandered away having a browse one male member of staff busy with a customer at the laptops customer also seemed bemused at the service another female member of staff behind the counter and the only other customers were two couples one waiting patiently to be served at till and the other now being approached by what I assumed was a duty manager also female now breaking the bad news about an item they had come to collect in store actually wasnβt in stock. . I spotted aforementioned Emma now appearing from the store with my intended purchase and heading towards the till .despite no eyes contact or indication of interest in me I headed to the till interaction nil I paid where the only conversation was trying to sell me extra warranty or pay more to go to charity. I picked up my item and headed to the door and headed to my car receiving a grunt to the effect from the β duty managerβ . Truly a deeply disappointing visit . I was patient and pleasant smiling and joking about not having my glasses on to deadpan stony silence. Perhaps the lack of staff poor training or just unhappy unmotivated staff contributed to my poor customer experience. This was the second time I had travelled to the Irvine store in 2 weeks. Previous visit was on a sat at 530 to discover they close at 5 on a sat despite checking opening times on the internet . Comon curryβs you want to pretend your pegging prices to 2021 maybe services pegged to when you were closed during lockdown arnt what you should be giving customers .
