21 months is the time that this garage had my Fiat 595 Abartb... Without fixing it. Edward is a pleasant man who doesn't have a clue about customer service. Yes he has been in the business a long time but that doesn't mean to say he's doing a good job . The garage is chaotic and every single week he prioritized other cars over mine. The car went in with a convertible roof problem that he assured me he could fix. He kept telling me that all he required was a week to take a run at the car and he would fix it. Well Edward you had 75 of them and you didn't do it. I would cancel anybody against taking their cars here because there's a high chance you won't get them back especially if the business goes into receivership. The excuse that he gave was that the mechanic that was dealing with it left and that in order for him to maintain a business and make money my car had to go on the back burner because it wasn't profitable. Well now I have been left with a car where the roof doesn't close and a cardboard box on the back seat with parts in it that somebody is going to have to sort through in order to try to fix the car which even though it is 13 years old is still worth something. Edward must be at the end of his career and it's a shame that it is being blighted by intransigence and poor customer service .

Disappointing would be the word I’d use to describe my experience. I dropped off my classic car for an MOT/Service and it first started off badly because I informed the hood was not opening and it was still taken to the MOT centre without it being fixed, where it was obviously turned away and caused delays. After it was then eventually fit in a few days later, I was informed of some issues with the vehicle that arose during the service. Edward was very transparent and informative when it came to what needed doing and I agreed to works being completed. However, from here I was told day after day ‘the car would be ready to collect’ the next day, however for over 2 weeks almost every day I was told the car would be ready - when it wasn’t. I tried to stress multiple times my issue wasn’t with the time getting pushed back, it was the fact it wasn’t communicated to me at all that that was no longer the case. On several occasions I had to make arrangements with work and lose out financially to make myself available to take collection of the car, but I found it frankly rude that I couldn’t even be given the courtesy to say plans changed. Instead agreeing this as a simple lapse in customer service and courtesy, I was told time after time that unforeseen delays can cause the timescale to change. Regrettably however many times I stressed it they didn’t seem to grasp how rude it was for them not to just pop me a call to say the car would no longer be ready to collect. The quality of work is good hence the 3 star review which partially made up for my experience. I did notice after collecting the LED head light had gone out while in repair and Edward did kindly offer to rectify it, but I eventually decided to rectify this myself due to not wanting to have the issues I’d previously experienced. It’s a shame because the primary reason I chose the garage was due to the reputation and positive reviews. I not once asked for anything, but it’s a shame they 1. Struggled to take accountability and 2. Made no effort in trying to make things right given the fact I’d also incurred costs in making arrangements to collect when I was then let down - multiple times.

Truly wonderful people. Enthusiasts serving enthusiasts. They just sold a very special car for me and I was so, so impressed with them at every level.

I’ve been using this garage for 8 years and been incredibly happy with it. Was very surprised to see a couple of not so good reviews. I was referred by a colleague who had been using them for the past 5 years and had nothing but positive things to say! Claire is wonderful, she happily explains and helps with any questions you have. The repairs my car has under taken have all been reasonable and not expensive. I’m moving away from the area, but will happily drive extra 30 mins to continue using them! They are great and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I was in Edinburgh on holiday and the day we were due to travel back a belt snapped meaning I had no power steering and the battery wasn't charging. I was a little panicked as it was also a Saturday so a lot of garages were wither closed or shutting early. I called and spoke to Edward and he was fantastic, booked me in and priced everything up over the phone, he truly was a life saver that day and I cannot thank him and Claire enough. They went out of their way to fit me in, did a fantastic job at a reasonable price and kept me updated throughout the process, I would recommend them to everyone.

I cant thank Edward enough. At short notice he recovered my broken down Alfa and saved me hundreds. His garage is currently assessing the engine problem and I am awaiting his diagnosis. Hopefully its not too serious and I can enjoy the excellent repair I am sure his garage would carry out.

My Vespa scooter had an electrical problem near the garage. I pushed it to this garage and they lent me tools and a battery pack to restart it - I’d never met them before, but they took time out of their busy afternoon to help a random stranger. Many thanks, much appreciated.

This business is very inconsiderate of its neighbours, the business owner keeps many of the cars for sale/fixing on the residential parking spaces nearby so that the residents cannot park their cars near their own homes. Many of the cars are there illegally, as don't have a valid MOT or road tax, and are at times parked at disabled parking bays. After speaking to the business owner he said he 'does not care'.

These people are seriously good at what they do when it comes to repairing your car. I had my timing chain, water pump , service and various other stuff done. Car runs like a brand new car. They have a good outlook and employment strategy. Impressive. Don't be mislead by appearances. Amazing
