Love this Chinese. Always nip in to get chips and curry or chips and gravy and love that they give so much sauce. I want loads of sauce, most take aways give you a tiny bit and it’s really dry. It was closed on Mon so I went next door and their chips were undercooked and rotten. Just made me love Oriental even more. I will continue to go twice a wk
Have used for a few year now. Sometimes great sometimes not so great. Very stingy with portions over time. Got a prawn cocktail along with other food. Got up hungry through the night to devour the prawn cocktail. Turned out it was actually a salad with sauce and 2 very small prawns. I ordered prawn cocktail I expect prawns in it not 2 very small prawns. I know times are tough but put the prices up and give customers what they actually pay for. I binned the salad and made toast. Got ribs few weeks back. 4 small ribs with barely any meat on them!! Salt and chilli chicken same night. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was like kids popcorn chicken with a few strips of fried pepper and onion. Maybe they should change the menu so people know what they’re actually getting. I’ll not be purchasing food from this establishment again !! Poor show from a take away close to me I once rated highly.
Order arrived 45 minutes before the given time which is amazing itself on a Saturday. You will not find a better Chinese Restaurant in the East End of Glasgow than this one, the wonton soup in particular has very generous portions and all ingredients are super fresh. Everything made to such a high standard, I have lived in the East End for 5 years and have always struggled to find a decent local, We will be returning here for sure.
Food very bland staff couldnt understand a aword i was saying placed my order didnt get what i asked for went back got same order but very cold
Food arrived after 2hrs, estimated delivery kept getting put back!! Food arrived cold! Couldn't eat the food as the rice was all congealed together the sauce wasn't nice and cold! i don't know how long it was lying about for as they say they use insulated bags but the food still turned up cold , wouldn't recommend this place I thought it would be good with the reviews but not, no communication from the restaurant at all.
My go to Chinese in the east end. Food is always cooked to perfection and always fresh.
Just had a home delivery and got chicken curry fried rice salt and chilli chips and chicken balls and noodles for my little girl. First time using this shop and will definitely be back. Food was very nice. Salt and chilli dishes are delicious
We are a regular and use this Chinese at least 2 times one week. This food is excellent also amazing portion size for price. Food is always still very hot when getting home or if we get it delivered. Delivery is always very fast. Staff that work in the shop are always very welcoming. I also use the Chinese at lunch time were they sell excellent portion size for low price. Would highly recommend this Chinese.
