   Past experiences at another dental practice had left me with anxiety and a lack of trust, so I hadn't been in years. When I registered with Campbell and Gibson I was very apprehensive and almost didn't go to my first appointment. However when I met Sally I felt some of my anxiety go. I didn't even have to tell her how anxious I felt, she could tell straight away and immediately started to make me feel at ease. I have had several treatments done now and Sally has helped me to overcome my anxiety at every appointment by explaining things in detail, and helping me with breathing excercises to keep me calm. All the staff are lovely and come across like they genuinely care about patients. I feel so much more confident about going to the dentist now.

   I have been terrified of the dentist from a young age. Because of that I have avoided going my whole adult life, even when I have had problems. I had two cracked teeth and had been putting off booking an appointment with my previous dentist. When I eventually saw them I was told that both teeth needed to be removed and when I went in to get the teeth extracted I feel I was treated very poorly. I left the appointment upset, angry and still in agony with my broken teeth and no resolution to my problem, so I decided to look for another dentist. I found Campbell and Gibson online and after reading through their amazing reviews booked an appointment to see Rob. Rob couldn’t have been nicer, instantly putting me at ease. He sat and listened to me when I explained about my previous treatment and anxieties. I had the painful tooth extracted that day and did not feel a single thing! The other cracked tooth Rob managed to save and fix with a filling. He is the best dentist I’ve ever been treated by! I now have a dental plan set up to encourage me to go regularly. This is something I would never have done previously but because of the exemplary treatment at this dentist, I feel much better about going!

   Really exemplary service from James and his team. I’ve had two implants in the last two years and can honestly say that their determination to leave their patient happy is second to none. Even when a niggling infection caused issues, James was, if anything, more concerned than me about getting it fixed. Outstanding professionalism and a genuinely caring attitude. Very, very highly recommended.

   I had 20 years worth of trauma to my front tooth after a childhood accident which led to my teeth breaking and requiring fillings. The past year I began to notice discomfort with the tooth and decided to get it seen to - I was advised to get root canal treatment and wasn’t sure whether this would have to be carried out by a specialist or not. I then developed a severe dental abscess last month on said tooth, and after antibiotics I still experienced pain. I came into the practice for an emergency appointment with Sally Keenan and honestly couldn’t thank her more. I assumed I would be sent away again with antibiotics until I could get root canal treatment, however, Sally confidently offered to fix the problem (abscess) for me then and there. I experienced no further pain or complications and felt very at ease with Sally, completely confident in her ability to help me. I then requested Sally for my root canal treatment which I had done today. The experience itself was fantastic, I felt as at ease as I possibly could be! She allows you to feel in control, which is lovely when it is such a vulnerable position to be in. I can safely say I experienced no pain, and now the numbness has subsided, my tooth feels incredible! This is the first dentist that I have ever had full confidence in, and actually felt that they cared about my teeth and overall dental health. I couldn’t recommend Sally enough. Thank you again!

   This is a terrific practice from the minute you step in the door. Receptionists are warm and welcoming. Treatment with Sally is a pleasure. She ensures there is no pain or unnecessary discomfort. Dental nurse Fiona plays a large role in delivering this relaxed and caring approach. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

   I am fairly new to Campbell & Gibson, but Sally Keenan has been my dentist for many years. When Sally moved to the Musselburgh practice I followed her along and I am glad I did, as the practice has a nice and friendly atmosphere. Sally herself is a brilliant dentist. I am not an easy patient, but she always finds a way to accommodate my concerns and all her work has been exemplary.
