As always was made to feel at ease, Kevin explains everything and the options I have.....I am so confident in Kevin as a dentist that I feel so at ease and the work he has done is 1st class, thank you. Had an appointment with Kevin to have a tooth repaired and a cap fitted and as usual Kevin was fabulous. He always makes my visits relaxing and painless. The girls at the counter are always cheerful and helpful so all in all 10 out of 10 .
Great service and a friendly welcoming environment from Kevin Houston and the Team at Dental Express in Portobello. They always discuss your dental requirements in full with you, treat you as a customer rather than just a patient, and have every type of dental technology and equipment to more than meet your needs. Highly recommend going on their monthly dental plan too which makes covering any expenses much easier.
I attended dental express with tooth ache, I was quickly seen and problem was diagnosed! receptionists were very friendly and knowledgeable, effective and quick triage system. The lovely dental nurse Sarah and the always fabulous dentist Kevin were such a great team. Overall a very pleasant visit. Thank you team!
Last week I called looking for an appointment to deal with some dental issues I’ve been having. The receptionist was patient, listened to what I had to say and managed to find me a last minute appointment due to a cancellation. The appointment was with Simon who made some excellent recommendations which I’m following. Yesterday I saw the dental hygienist, Natalie, and explained that I had a sensitive tooth. The scale and polish she gave was the most thorough I’ve ever had and completely pain free. On both visits Sarah, the dental assistant did an admirable job and, so far, I can’t recommend the service more highly.
Just had the worst experience with Jackie here. She is unbelievably rude and obnoxious. She also lies - a-lot! Apparently my childcare isn’t her problem and then made my kids and wife (who also had an appointment) wait outside in the pouring rain. She also accused me of manipulating her into letting them back in! This person is unstable and not capable of running a business and dealing with people.
Andrew is a phenomenal dentist. He makes the process from start to finish seem effortless, and his calm and reassuring manner really helped me undergo treatment I was afraid to have. Very good value for money too, thank you to the whole team !
The dentist Kevin is absolutely fantastic! The reception team are amazing, friendly and polite but the Manager Jackie is the worst thing to happen to that place, she is rude, called patients untruthful and claims they are abusive when they are just correcting her misinformation. She is drunk with power and strikes you off the record for nothing when she is in a mood. She clearly hates her job, you’ll see/hear it when you go in.
Been going here for years, had a few different dentists, current one is Andrew, brilliant guy, helps put you at ease and the staff are all lovely in my experience. They did work hard through the pandemic and are doing their jobs to the best of their ability. Keep up the good work guys *****
I have been a patient off Kevin's for many years now, He is an excellent dentist and his dental nurse Helen is lovely. His professional and caring attitude and the treatment I've received over the years has been first class. The staff are all very helpful, Lately I've suffered horrendous pain and was given an appointment immediately. I have to say Donna was brilliant. Dental Express I would definitely recommend without hesitation.
