We had hot rolls, cakes, teas and coffees at Jeanies coffee shop for friends and family after an early morning family funeral. It was perfect. Several people commented on the tasty rolls and lovely cakes. Thank you John and Steven for looking after us. Definitely recommend
Absolutely love this place! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming! The food is nice, sit in and takeaway- always fresh! and the cakes are SO good!! Carrot cake is amazing!
My partner and I absolutely love Jeanies. We go each Wednesday afternoon we have off together when we can. Super friendly service from the whole team, great food at very reasonable prices. It's so nice to have somewhere local to escape to for a wee treat!
Lovely place would recommend, amazing food choices,lovely atmosphere,clean toilets and their is a fab gift shop next door have visited and will continue to visit.
I’ve had 2 afternoon tea boxes from Jeanie’s and they are absolutely delicious. They make everything from scratch on site (excluding one cranberry slice) and it’s such a great value box. The empire biscuits are the best you’ll ever taste. There’s also a wide range of cakes and treats to choose from - all fresh and delicious. There’s space to eat inside - plenty of room for social distancing! The shop is named after the owner’s late granny Jeanie, which is lovely. I am thrilled that this is so close, and that it’s run by locals - exactly the kind of business we should be supporting. I’ve booked to come in for one of their afternoon tea days in July, so I will be back!
Great place for a breakfast date. Small breakfast was fantastic and vanilla latte was great as well. Black pudding was some of the best in town. Great view out the window and good feel overall. Definitely will be coming again. Thanks
