This has been my regular go to for breakfast for a while now, food and drinks are absolutely delicious but iv had a few bad experiences with the service from a particular member of staff (an older woman with short white hair and terrible attitude). I have the exact same order every morning. Every time iv been served by this woman on the morning it’s been a horrible experience. From walking through the doors iv been told by her that I’d have to “wait for food because she haven’t even turned the oven on yet” or “it'll be a bit of a wait for food because I’m too rushed off just now” or “you’ll needy give me a while if it’s good because iv got too much to get ready thismorning”. Each time is a terrible attitude and I’m treated like an inconvenience for asking for something that’s on the menu. I’m always nothing but polite when I come in and have always told her in the past that “it’s no problem I can wait, don’t rush” but I’m still treated like an inconvenience. Thismorning was the worst iv had with her. When asking for something off the breakfast menu I was told again that “I’d need to just wait a while because I’m behind and hadn’t turned on the oven yet”. I again told her that it was alright and I’d wait. She then asked me if I wanted anything else. I asked for a hot chocolate to which she scoffed and shook her head right before putting it in the till. I had had enough at this point and told her to leave it and started walking out the door to then hear her shouting back that “naw it’s fine I’ll serve you” to which I explained to her that it’s the same attitude every morning I’m served by her and it just ruins my whole experience at this point. There was no apology or explanation and when I’d asked her why she’d scoffed and shook her head when I’d asked hot a hot drink she still just continued to say that “it was fine and she’d serve me” I had to walk out and this whole experience was just the tipping point for me and ruined the whole atmosphere of my dining experience to the point where I no longer want to go back. I understand people bad days but this has been every single time shes served me and like I’d mentioned, I’m a regular and the cafe has been dead at the time I come in. No one else is waiting to be served. I would like to say that there is another server who I cannot fault and is the complete opposite. I didn’t get her name but she’s the light of that cafe and her service is impeccable. The woman has brown curly hair and a bit more mature. But every time shes served me shes been delightful and even went out her way to cheer me up when shes asked if I’m having a bad day. Iv had no other problems with any other member of staff and it’s a shame that one person has ruined it completely for me with horrific attitude and service.

Sunday visit and sign says it closes at 4:30 ... Currently/just (@ 3:04pm) been asked to quickly order hot food as they shut early on a Sunday so the kitchen will be closing very soon. I cannot see anything on the menu that takes a hour and a half to cook. Very nice staff member did take my order as I was at the rear of the queue of three couples, and the only one ordering food.. That was delivered before I got to the till. Most of the seating blocked off so only couples able to sit for a coffee really. Close to £30 for nachos, an adult soup a child soup and 3 diet cokes. From 3:30 we have enjoyed the amazing ambience of crashing cutlery, banging plates, and the clattering of cups. Not going to be a return visit for me but food was lovely.

A nice relaxing morning here. Had a wrap and an earl grey tea. Boyfriend had a bacon roll and a chai latte which he said was nice. Personally I had no problems with the service but maybe some might find it slow but I was in no rush. They also allow dogs inside, in certain areas so just ask when you go in. Will definitely revisit

Dnisi is a fantastic cafe with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and spacious, nicely decorated interiors. The menu offers a lot of variety, with the food being of excellent quality and highly enjoyable. The cakes, in particular, are a must-try, as they are always fresh and absolutely lovely. Although slightly on the pricier side compared to other local options, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience are well worth it. If you're looking for a high-quality restaurant with great food, welcoming staff, and a great atmosphere, Dnisi is definitely worth considering.

Popped in here for a quick coffee and cake. Staff were lovely and helped us into the shop with 2 prams. Enough space to accommodate prams which is great. Lovely girl on the till, think she was being trained and she was very polite and helpful. Will definitely be back

Set in the historic Quarry Street in Hamilton, Scotland, D'Nisi is an independent Scottish coffee chain that specialises in in-store roasted coffee. It's clean and well kept, the staff are friendly and courteous, the coffee, (there's a choice of blends), is excellent and the full breakfast very good and well priced. Definitely worth a visit.
