This was an extremely amazing find! I loved every single dish we ordered, everything felt so fresh and so flavourful. We had the homemade spring rolls, which was one of the best rolls Iβve had in Glasgow, chicken soup with egg and spicy Malaysian fried rice which they would adjust the spice according to your likes (we opted for more spice and it was so tasty!) Definitely recommend this cozy spot with such great friendly service!

This is my absolutely favourite cafe in Govanhill! The food is delicious (I normally order the Malaysian fried rice and spring rolls), but you canβt go wrong with anything on the menu. The owner Rita remembers her regulars by name and always makes everyone feel so welcome, and her son Victor cooks your meal fresh every time. You wonβt regret visiting here.

We had the chicken wantons, Malaysian vegetable noodles and roast duck with fried rice. It was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and authentic according to my Malaysian friend. Fantastic hidden gem.

IMO more cafes need to serve Nasi Goreng for breakfast. A chilli burst is the best way to kick start your day. Cafe Niu does this along with other SE Asian dishes and traditional Western breakfast and lunch dishes, inc vegan and vegetarian options, and all for a good price

I like this place. Very friendly staff. Food is good. Only three stars due to their habit of having two radios on at once tuned to two different channels. Drives you mad. Don't care which one you pick, just pick one channel please?
