1. Mould Pro ★★☆☆☆

   Food - full Scottish (sent back it was terribly cooked e.g. egg raw very sunny side up! The tattie scone one side nuked inedible, blob of haggis utter liquid mush and ramekin of beans freezing ) second attempt was better (sent out the same sausage, black Pudding and bacon now cold! Fresh egg was cooked solid and bean’s microwaved to be boiling hot - to be honest I expected such a response) overall still struggling for 5/10. The first coffee lovely second coffee never a flat white, no crema and wouldn’t pass as latte, weak as hell. Service - had 25 min wait for plate breakfast then further 15 when sent back. Staff apologetic but seem under the cosh. My kid enjoyed his roll n sausage and empire biscuit. The place could be doing with a deep clean and lick of paint the cobwebs and dust on the small window at rear of the cafe shows the level of cleanliness for me. Skirt boards dirty and scuffed. Good luck in the future I won’t personally return.

   Took a wee while to get served and another wee while for my panini to be served. It came with salad and I asked the waitress for a knife and fork and she said "they're over there" pointing towards the far end on the cafe. I left my dog under the table and collected them. The overall marking would have been two stars but it is dog friendly.

   Lovely lentil soup with a hot panini.Panini had obviously been frozen so a bit soft but still enjoyed it.Mum had tea and a tipsy cake which she said was lovely. Really friendly guy serving who said he made the soup which was not salty. Gorgeous view on a sunny day.

   Poor Service. Tables not cleared and piled high with uneaten food, plates, mugs and trays. Drinks loyalty card only for coffee. not tea. despite them being similar in cost. made no sense.

   This place has changed owners, came thinking it would be like before. Good luck guessing what's on the menu, was in the queue and had to walk to cash desk to grab a menu. Then placed order. Waited 20 minutes for soup and panini, had to ask. 5 minutes came and I got a latte in a paper cup, water in a plastic cup and the panini order was wrong. Possible understaffed, tables not being cleared and £1.70 for a canned soft drink, a little steep. Won't be back! EVER.

   Only giving 4 stars as it was short staffed but the staff present did the best that they could with the numbers as it had spells of busy and slightly quieter. I visited on 06/06/2022 with friends for lunch. We ordered 3 lentil soup and 2 panini's and 1 sandwich. For drinks we ordered 2 diet Pepsi and 1 cappuccino. The food did take a wee while to reach us but it was good and tasty and plentiful. Everything tasted lovely and it was good value for money. See accompanying photo.

   Popped in for a cuppa and cake. Quite busy but staff were friendly and service was quick. Everything was clean and tidy, sanitizer was available just inside the door and staff are continuing to wear masks.

   Waterside Cafe doesn't deserve a rating,waited over 30 minutes for our order,after already waiting for 10 mins to get a menu. When order did eventually arrive staff member appologised for order bring late said it was because everyone came in at once(12 30ish was lunch time afterall) Staff member then turned and walked away.She went straight into kitchen and wouldn't hear what we had to say. Shocking....
