   We visited on a busy Saturday morning. Although the food was tasty, service was poor. The staff were always friendly, but the cafe seemed disorganised and there was a long wait time for drinks and food. It took half an hour from when we sat down until our drinks arrived, and a full hour until our food was served. Sad to only give this cafe 3 starts as the other reviews are so positive and sadly we didn't share such a positive experience

   A cool little cafe in mount florida. A menu to suit all dietary requirements. We shared a delicious BLT with a portion of savoury fries. Very tasty with aoli on the side followed by an apple pie.

   What a hidden gem!! What delicious food! Well worth a visit and the food was bloody fantastic! Really pleased that we popped in. Coffee was great and as I say the attached pictures do not do the food justice.

   I’ve visited here a few times for takeaway coffee, takeaway lunch and recently for a sit-in brunch. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The coffee is also nice and they use Mossgiel milk as their dairy option. The service was a little bit slow but we were sat through the back so I imagine that didn’t help. Overall, the food was great so I will need to come back!!

   Really good cooked breakfast with tasty, high quality items. Only thing I'd say is that it'd be good to have tinned baked beans as an option as, for me, the homemade sauce didn't quite fit. Good full bodied coffee with a lovely flavour. Friendly and welcoming service too.

   Tremendous wee diner in Mount Florida. Breakfast always spot on ! Great big flavours, welcoming staff - its just everything you want for a local shop. Get involved if you’re in the area.

   Salmagundi definitely isn't the cheapest place on the strip but the food is also an exception to the area. Chorizo hash for breakfast and a latte was £13 but it was amazing. A good selection of vegan options means all diets are catered for.

   Great local cafe with delicious local food and great coffee and cakes. Really reasonably priced with a fair amount of seating. Loved the staff attention to detail, the hand made loose leaf teabags they put together right in front of you was a particularly nice touch. The staff were friendly and the music made for a relaxed atmosphere I'l definitely be back in.
