   Excellent service, with hearty American dirty brunch scran in a neat and tidy cosy cafe. Staff were super funny and friendly, that were very attentive and even helpful to mums and dads with prams. Tucked into the back corner, I was able to enjoy a lovely couple coffees and some spicy loaded tater tots. It’s simple filling food piled up to the brim of the plate. For the affordable price it’s worth chilling with a couple of mates for a crippling lunch (in a good way). Thanks for an enjoyable meal, cheers :)

   I visited the cafe on Saturday morning and it was already buzzing and rightfully so, because the food was delicious! We ordered the Brooklyn benedict with pulled pork, Sid's sweet&chilli chicken tater tots, Italian grilled cheese, Cajun panini. For drinks we tried the iced passion fruit matcha, Oreo milkshake and a classic latte. My benedict was eggsalent and it had this sugar dipped red chilli pieces as garnish and it was such a beautiful kick. Legendary Sid (of the tater tots fame) was our server, full of energy and warmth.

   We got there just after they opened for the morning. It’s a great cozy little restaurant. There are so many different options for breakfast and lunch, something for every taste. Great combo plates to of sweet and savory. I had the salmon and scram toast. It was delicious.

   I had such a great experience at the Brooklyn Cafe! The matcha was incredible and the food was so tasty. Big thanks to my server Hamza, who was so kind and attentive throughout, his service really made the visit even better. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for great drinks and friendly service!

   My favourite place in Shawlands! Everything I order in here is delicious, but my favourite is the Salmon and Scram. The fry-ups and french toast are good too. Their speciality coffees are amazing! The plates of food and coffees are massive so you are definitely getting your money's worth. The cakes and biscuits are excellent too. Plenty of vegetarian options and good vegan options. Service is wonderful, the staff are always very attentive and food is always out reasonably quick, even when they are full on the weekends! Ever since I first came here almost a decade ago, there has been no complaints. Thank you Brooklyn Café!

   Great Cafe that never disappoints. Been here a few times and it's probably one of the best cafes I've been too. The menu is outstanding and the food is always great with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, the staff are always friendly and welcoming (Nina served us this week she was fab). If you've never been here a make a point to go 10/10 from me.

   I came across this cafe's Instagram account where I saw that they can make personalised cookies. I've ordered some from them and they were absolutely incredible, the design was so spot on and the taste was so good! I've ordered to packs of different designs and they made it all overnight! I decided to collect the biscuits myself and spent some time in the actual cafe, the environment was really nice and the menu was superb. I will be coming back for some brunch for sure! I am now planning a housewarming party and will be ordering a big batch of biscuits! Thank you!

   Sad to find out they don't do the pancakes anymore. The meat free options were nice though - tried the Vegan Tower, the flavours were balanced, mildly spicy. Regrettably, through it may have been a honest mistake / my bad luck, the cafe also joins a string of eateries that has attempted to over charge me, (even if it's just a small amount), over the past few days.

   The best poached eggs I’ve ever had! The hollandaise sauce is straight from heaven. The cappuccino (and coffee in general) is fantastic. The service is always exceptional and one of the best things is that this place is so consistent. Never had a bad meal from here. Sorry to say I haven’t tried much else because I can’t bring myself to order anything else when the poached eggs are this good! My husband loves the veggie breakfast. My dad loves the Scottish breakfast. If you’re looking to try somewhere new, this is the place! Wish I could give more stars. *****
