Magda cut my hair for the first time this week. She asked me questions I have never been asked before and then proceeded to give me the very best haircut I have ever had . It is the haircut I have never been able to describe or really maintain. I look and feel cooler than I have ever been, and at 40 years old that is incredibly special. Thank you, Magda!

I loved my haircut! Magda is truly talented and cares a lot about the details. I have 2c/3a curly hair and she did an amazing job, exactly what I wanted. I truly recommend this place, especially if you have curl hair. Additionally the atmosphere is lovely. It feels so charming and personalised.
I’m delighted with my cut - Magda is very good with curly hair, and the price is reasonable. Magda is a friendly, welcoming person and always interesting to talk to. On top of that, the coffee is great! Highly recommended.
Really disappointed. I asked for a wolf cut and I basically look like a mushroom. None of the layers were blended, I've literally had friends burst out laughing at the sight of my hair. I showed some reference pictures and she got her own pictures of a style that was more extreme. Looks super alt, which isn't me at all. UPDATE: I decreased my rating even further because trying to contact the hairdresser to fix this has done nothing. She responded once and then ignored my texts to try and resolve this. Really annoyed at this. Update 2: your response is just a straight up lie, of which I've provided receipts. and obviously I would not allow the woman who butchered my hair to continue to do so. I've had to travel abroad to make any attempt to fix this and still 6 months later in having to put my hair up I've further attached photos showing how choppy my haircut was after it was done
I have curly hair which had gotten very long since my last haircut because I was afraid of going to a new hairdresser. I came in with the same reference pic I’ve used before and came out with the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. Magda cut my hair better than I could’ve imagined myself and was very lovely to chat with. Absolutely over the moon with my haircut and would recommend to the highest degree. Feels like she really understands both your hair and what you want from it.
Great first haircut with Magda. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a really good dry haircut, which I was somewhat sceptical about, but was a technique which worked really well. As many curly haired folk will relate to, going to a new hairdresser is more nerve-wracking than a trip to the dentist, but Magda put me at ease and I felt I was in good hands. Magda is very interesting and it was great to chat with her in her cosy studio. I would recommend to others and will definitely go back.
I've been to Magda twice now and couldn't be happier with my hair. She really understands curly hair and gets the exact style I'm going for. She is also affordable, has great chat and her studio is really cute. She also cut my husbands hair and did a fantastic job. So glad I found her!
I had my second curly haircut with Magda today and it was amazing. She is so welcoming and always makes you feel at home in her salon. She is very knowledgeable about how to cut, style and manage curls. I’ve been looking for a curly hairstylist for years in Edinburgh and was delighted to have such a great experience with Magda. Magda did a great job of tidying up my curly mop. I had a dry cut and she gave me some great advice on shape and really listened to what I wanted and what works for my hair and face. Curly girls, this is the place to go! The whole experience was great, the small 1 to 1 salon experience means you don't have to worry about crowding or feeling rushed through. Nice atmosphere, great chat, great music. If you want an affordable, personal, chilled hair cut experience I'd highly recommend.
