My husband and I went to the cafe yesterday for the first time Excellent service from all staff we had cheeseburgers and chips tea and a bottle of water which was delivered with ice and lemon. I am a fussy eater and I was very impressed with the quality of food Place was spotless and we will definitely be back as my husband wants to try the cakes

Arranged at 11.37, to be told we couldn’t have two rolls and chips until at least 12 midday. Mum and I have been regulars there for years. We will NEVER be back and we will be telling our friends and family to stay well clear after this today. She has done as a favour as the place is a wee dive! The owner is so depressing and never smiles. 2 rolls and chips and two cans of iron bru £12.20. Why did I not bar myself from this place years ago?

After a long walk in the park, I decided to stop by Grove Café for breakfast and a coffee. This cosy, dog-friendly café is perfectly located within Levengrove Park, making it a great place to relax and refuel. The outdoor seating area is lovely, especially on warm, sunny days, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air while sipping your drink. I had breakfast along with a latte, and both were absolutely enjoyable, the food was delicious and well prepared, and the coffee was just right. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent, making the whole experience even more pleasant. Another great plus is the accessibility car park right outside, which makes visiting the café even more convenient, especially for those with mobility needs. If you're looking for a welcoming café in Dumbarton with great food, a peaceful setting, and a dog-friendly atmosphere, Grove Café is definitely worth a visit!

Posts opening times, but in reality opening times are arbitrary and cafe is closed / not serving food at random times on random days. 14:00 Sun 15/01/2023 and cafe is not serving. "Cafe" now only serving soup or tea/coffee due to "staffing issues". No soup at 13:00 Sat 25/02/2023. Outrageous how much money was spent on this project for it to just serve tea and coffee for a handful of hours a week.

Love going here & getting breakfast rolls before taking our dog around the park. Food appears to be cooked fresh to order, so can be a wait but defo worth it. Coffee selection is good too, they offer oat milk & a good range of syrups. Can be busy depending on time visiting, seating inside & outside. Dogs welcome at the outdoor tables & water bowls provided. Toilet facilities available.

I’m now a regular visitor to this fab little café within the beautifully refurbished Levengrove Park, Dumbarton. The food is tasty, service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. The café is run as a social enterprise helping people who’ve had struggles with mental health, addiction or people with autism to get into work. The staff have always been lovely and attentive when I’ve been there. I can highly recommend a visit.
