On an away day from down south, I needed a good Scottish breakfast. Breakfast as hoped for……cost £6 and change, including tea. Shout out to server who was excellent. Clean and bright cafe tucked away in a industrial estate. Parking was free.
What a lovely place Burch cafe is! Staff are absolutely delightful and the price is killer. We stopped in for breakfast and were not disappointed. They were out of the veggie sausage for the vegan breakfast but were more than happy to give us extra of something else to make up for it so wasn’t a problem at all. We left buzzing that we’d got a full brekky for a fiver each and been served by such lovely staff. We didn’t ask the name of the brunette girl who served us but she made our morning how lovely she was. Definitely recommend.
Friendly happy team who have time for you and your family, made a lovely comment about how my child has great manors, drew us a lovely picture of a bear and cat to take home after my daughter drew them a picture! The food was great quality and the prices were awesome! Can't wait to be back! Xxxx

Another huge plus is the convenience of the EV charger in the parking area, making it easy to charge my car while enjoying breakfast. Parking itself is hassle-free, which is always a bonus. Overall, The Birch Café is a gem in Dumbarton and a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food, friendly service, and great amenities.
The Birch is local family run cafe which has amazing breakfast’s and the cakes are out of this world. The staff are very friendly and there is play area outside for the kids which is good on nice sunny day. This is highly recommended to go and try the food and especially the breakfast and cakes.
Busy place and very good value for the food. A great variety of meals and snacks would recommend it, the staff were friendly and helpful.
