   Gave a sample the week before and said I could come in. Sat down and she got on with after the wash. We kept saying we didn’t like the colour, but the woman with the blonde hair didn’t seem to care or apologise. As I was talking, well trying to speak to her she acted as if she couldn’t hear me, Or would turn the hair dryer back on so she couldn’t hear anything. Tried to convince me that it was the same colour as we asked. The colour we asked for was a brown/blonde but the colour she let us walk out with was ginger a patchy yellow ginger. If you are a hair dresser who actually takes pride in the work you do you would never let your client leave the salon like that. It is extremely embarrassing. Trying to tell me it was difficult to work with “Indian hair” she didn’t even try she only put bleach on the hair and washed it out and dried it. Didn’t even wash the bleach out properly. Also don’t assume someone’s race like that. And if the client isn’t happy you should have either sorted out the hair or you could have lowered your price. To be honest I think it’s time for this woman to give up with the hairdressing you might have been good before but now I think you might be a bit too old to make it work. Go home Sit back put your feet up have a cup of tea love.

   My partner gets her hair cut here and is very happy with the results that Yvonne supplies. Very reasonable and I would say it's cheap and cheerful in the best way possible. Too many hairdressers in Edinburgh are charging over inflated prices but Bitz & Bobz always delivers a decent cut for a reasonable price.

   I've been going to this salon for years and always have Yvonne cut my hair. A cut, shampoo, and blow dry costs me £9.50 yes you saw that correctly. As a pensioner I get the lower rate. There is another ladies hairdresser Pauline and the owner of the salon Owen who does the mens hair cuts. There are a few hairdressers in Gorgie but you would do yourself and your purse a favour if you give this salon a try.
