Great wee pub. The function room was nice and was very family-friendly. The staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Prices were reasonable, especially if you've kids. The fruit-shoots were only £1. I was £20 for 2 pints of tenants, 2 cans of coke, a lime and lemonade and 5 fruit-shoots.
Personally hired the function hall for 14 years, recommended it to all my family, friends and members of the church and school communities. I've had christenings, communions, 21st and 30ths thrown in the function hall and always had a great time. Until my last daughters communion where we were asked to leave early. 14 years of loyalty means nothing to the owners, over a little bit of cake. There was more mess on the dance floor from kids eating the cake. That was all cleaned yet my daughters party was still cut short and we were asked to leave. Would not recommend. Go to the Burroughs instead.
Nice wee place. We were in for private function and the family had picked the food but staff were very pleasant and attentive. Good place for a wee night out.
Good for hiring for a party
Really nice local with a very friendly owner who came out from behind the bar to check on our table. Not too many independent pubs in Cumbernauld, so check this one out. X

Had my 60th Birthday party here on 25th August. Staff were very friendly and Gerry the DJ was brilliant. Played a good mix of music and pretty much played everything I asked him to play. Only issue was they ran out of pink gin but it was extremely busy so can understand that. Thanks to all the management and staff and Gerry the DJ. Everyone enjoyed the night. I love the glitter ball and lights at edges of dance floor. Great place for a party
