If I could give this place zero stars I would. We were here after a family funeral. The spread that was put on was shocking especially for the price they charged for it. A few plates of ‘sandwiches’ placed on the tables. The sandwiches which consisted of stale bread, smothered in mayo with two cubes of chicken per sandwich, ham and tomato’s which had seen better days, and a cheese sandwich which was nothing more than a sprinkle of pregrated cheese from a bag, the cheapest of the cheap. There were also 3 plates of barely cooked yet STONE COLD sausage rolls which had been cut up into little squares. Over all shocking food, everyone had to go elsewhere after to eat as the food was inedible. We could not get service at the bar as majority of the time there were no staff on the bar. We had to wait 15-20 minutes at the bar to get served. Then after everyone left we got a phone call to say that the other 50% of the bill had not been paid (50% was put down as a deposit) and that they were going to phone the police on an 80 year old man who had just buried his wife of 60 years! When it had already been agreed he would be paying the remainder of his bill the following day rather on the day of the funeral! Not to mention that everyone (around 40 plus people) spent at least £50 each on drinks alone. Absolutely shocking behaviour. We are utterly disgusted. We often visit the Coorie inn which was why we chose this location however we will not be back! DISGRACE!

Very friendly people and good menu selection. Everyone enjoyed their meals and desert too. Good sized portions and better than average quality for a pub meal. £96 for 4 to have a 2 course meal with one non alcoholic drink.

Just returned from my daughter’s 21st which we had in the function room. lovely intimate space with nice decor and a well stocked bar. The buffet was fresh and plentiful and enjoyed by all. The staff in this place were incredible. From the moment we arrived to set up and decorate the room they could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother inc offering us a cuppa while we set up and letting two hungry teens order food from the restaurant menu. Thanks to Shauna, Karen (I think) and our fab barman for the night (sorry didn’t get your name). All our guests commented on how nice it was and how they’d be back to try out the restaurant. Don’t hesitate to book here for functions - brilliant!!

Probably the worst meal i have had this year... Cullen skink was all cream and chives. Went in for a ribeye, only to be told after ordering one they only had fillet and sirloin, so chose the sirloin only to be charged an extra £9 for it.. as you can see it came with 2 day old mushrooms and a dollop of smash... all this rounded off with the most ignorant woman that worked there too. Only saving grace was the very polite girl who served our drinks and took the order. Avoid this place for food

Lovely local pub with cosy Scottish themed interior. Portions are generous and food is reasonably priced too. We had a large party of 9 and everyone was fed at the same time for each course with no issues. Our server Arron was fantastic, very attentive, and a real gentleman. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Received a recommendation to visit for lunch. It was definitely worth the recommendation. The interior design is lovely and has an authentic Scottish theme. Lauren looked after my friend and I very well. The food was delicious and priced well. Definitely would return and recommend.

Restaurant interior is nice inside and had a good cosy atmosphere. Food was tasty and everyone seem happy with their meal. Popped next door to their bar for some after dinner drinks and live music. Great time.
