   Corner House is a well run pub while no hot food is provided Mondays and Thursdays sandwiches pies are provided on bingo and quiz nights free to customers entertaiment is karaoke Friday and Sunday and live singer on Saturdays free pool Tuesdays well worth a visit plenty of cocktails to try plus normal chose of draught beers/lager/cider to suit all palets

   I was in there one day and there were 4 people in, meaning i was a quarter of their clientele. I over heard bar lady saying that last night was very poor attendance last night. And there is loads of sandwiches and pies left. Three regulars where offered if they would like one . But the lesser known was totally excluded from that equation. Ive just moved here and settling in and just beginning to be more regular. So basically the food would get thrown away or will stay their for i dont know how many days before they will get thrown away. When what could have happened is make someone feel welcome that might end up giving thousands of pounds over years and could have made them drink more therefore generating more profits. Or throw then away. I believe that in retail and hospitality, customers make pay day possible. To me this is the appitomy of clechish whis isn't a good business model.

   Always loved this wee boozer but what a terrible experience I had today! The bar person (Ann) had such a terrible attitude.When I suggested that I may have been overcharged for my round of drinks and asked for a receipt, she said that it was not possible to do so and issued several blank receipts!,in a futile attempt to provide evidence for her positio n! She then advised that I would not be served with any further drinks!!! I have to ask if this is the pubs official policy??

   Fantastic night, took my mum for a game of bingo for her 70th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for her. She had a wonderful night and even won a £20 bar tab on the bingo!

   First time I have been in corner house in years. Just popped in for a quick drink so wasn't their long but enjoyed what time I did have. There was a young entertainer singing thought she was very good. The place was clean and good service. Thought the prices were dear for a wee local. They were as dear as Motherwell. But sign of the times I suppose.

   Nice wee boozer lovely setting reasonable drink and decent dukebox locals friendly and up for a laugh... change over of what I would assume as manager half way through my time was a nice pleasant lady then a older guy took over think it was her husband changed the atmosphere a bit was quite blunt and militant left shortly after this as I like friendly bar staff and he was too blunt and short for me doesn’t take much to have a friendly persona and good attitude...apart from that I will definitely return as it’s a cracking local with a chilled out feel 75% of the time will just be wary of who’s in on shift.
