   No option to give zero stars the Croft restaurant doesn't even deserve 1 star! Festive menu is not clear as it says from 24hj Nov but no end date which is false advertising according to trading standards which I have referred this establishment to. Boxing day counts as the festive season until hognany. We booked a boxing day lunch only to be told the festive deal menu ended Xmas eve. We asked over the phone and visited restaurant and asked if festive menu deals were on boxing day and was told yes! Lies! Very disappointed that the 2 for 1 doesn't happen on boxing day, again this was not made clear or written down anywhere on any menus. Absolutely disgraceful and won't be back, plus staff didn't have enough of anything and kept interrupting our table offering alternatives. You would get better service at Faulty Towers.

   I’m sorry about this, but, you need to know that our visit on Saturday 23rd March, 24, at 5 for dinner was under par from previous visits.. quantity for the price wasn’t there.. chicken pakora and inions what happened to the side salad… my battered fish was disgusting, overfried hard hardly any fish…both pots are small but the peas and tartar was half full.. steak pie was okay but the boiled potatoes in skins were watery and black inside… gammon steak so thin it looked like a bacon rasher.. and the lasagna so tiny in the plate no chips included!! Overall a very disappointing experience which is out of character for angels which I’ve always enjoyed… but the £109 spend, really annoying for increased food prices for low quality food. Your dining room was busy and the waitresses were good, didn’t want to upset our company by complaining on the night.

   Wow the service and food were out of this world we had a joint 90 th and 60th at the castle rooms uddingston were were so impressed we chose the carvery menu which was of a very high standard with special thanks to kay and her staff 10 stars plus thanks Lisini for making it a very special night for us both and our guests i must comment you did us proud

   We had my granddaughters christening on Sunday 28th October...the venue at the castle rooms was excellent everyone who attended loved the place. Eileen the manager was great and also the staff. Thank you for our lovely day.

   My Partner and friends went to dine in Angels last night. My partner had broken her pelvis in May this year and has been house bound for several months only getting out occasionally in her wheelchair. I would just like to say the she was looked after fantastically by the staff in particular Nicole. After some time in the wheelchair Phyllis starts to get sore, Nicole went out of her way to make sure she was comfortable throughout her meal, bring cusions to make sure she was supported. My partner had a great meal with her friends, and enjoyed her night out. We would recommend Angels for a great night out and in particular if you have a disability you are looked after with dignity and care. Thank you Angels and in particular Nicole.
