Remember when pubs were warm &.Cosy,me too,until the gray paint came in & modernist look came in & ruined it,same goes for sister bar BABBITYS,no character or individuality.
Great wee bar visited with four friends and had a great night bar staff were both very good
Just another good pub in Glasgow.
I was in the Black Bull once, about 12 years ago. It looked like a traditional style boozer. Wooden panels, leather seats, as I remember. Now it's kentiigerns, i heard they serve real ale, so I popped in for a pint. It's totally different, lighter, less "character." All depends on your personal tastes.
I loved this pub. It’s a real dump but has great atmosphere. Reasonably priced beer. Original cast iron Victorian era pillars. Not tarted up. Genuine Glasgow local.
Good pub with reasonable prices and they know how to pour a Guinness.
Went downhill over the past few years, couldn't believe the state of the place, you'd think as it's in Glasgow's Merchant City they'd have tarted it up a bit...suppose its always been an old man's pub though. Not impressed. 2 and a half stars.
Great wee pub, very welcoming and fantastic staff, i would highly recommend to all, karaoke on a Saturday night, brilliant.
