Great experience every time! I walked in last minute before my wedding in 2023 and Arran cut my hair and shaped my beard. It looked great and he kept it very natural looking so it didn’t appear to be a fresh cut. Now every year when I’m in Scotland, the Golden Scissors is my go-to barber. When Arran isn’t there I work with Ivan, who is equally good and professional. When you stop in be sure to tell him “Andrew says hi and I’ll see him again next year!”
Wonderful barbers, I've been there twice now for hot shave and once for a haircut. First I was seen by Sam and second time by Arran. I found both of them to be charming and very good with sensitive skin. Definitely going to be returning for more shaves as this has become my preferred form of facial hair removal.
Saw Sam twice in 10 days - he's extremely precise, don't forget to ask for the "baby talc" treatment!

Best hot towel shave in Scotland, and really the UK! Great conversation with the barber, great shave, and great shop! I have been to many “Turkish barbers” and other barbers that offer the hot towel shave, and this was hands down, the best!!
