   I had a great experience a Backstage Barbershop. I was visiting Edinburgh so I researched the highest reviewed barbershop in Edinburgh with the results all showing Backstage. I was not disappointed. Sabrina did an excellent job. There was a little bit of added pressure since it was for my wedding, but it did not phase her in the least. Never mind the great haircut, the banter was on point with both her and Jean-Luc. They even provided coffee and treats! My soon-to-be was there, too, and she had a blast. Well worth the trip, well worth the visit, and when I come back I'll be sure to stop in. Thank you!

   Went for a restyling with Jean-Luc. He talked me through the style I wished and he gave me a fantastic haircut, the happiest I have been with a haircut for years. There is a great relaxed atmosphere and all the staff were cheerful and helpful. Will be coming back for further haircuts with Jean-Luc, and enjoy some great conversation with him. Highly recommended.

   Always greeted and treated with kindness and respect. Lovely staff. Really talented hairdressers who always make sure you are comfortable and offered me tea/coffee or soft drinks. I have been to backstage barbers four times now and I always leave feeling good about myself. I highly recommend! Safe, comfortable and professional! The best!!

   Went to Balin for a re-style cut and follow-up cuts since then. He’s a great barber, chill, relaxed, knows how to advise when you come in with an idea, and you’ll have a great time chatting with him. Highly recommend heading over to this shop, the team there will take really great care of you.

   Went there recently and asked for a low fade, ended up having the side of my head shaved with minimal blending the haircut being a little bit rubbish wasn’t an issue as I think it was a misunderstanding but the fact that they nearly tried to charge me £30 for it nearly made me throw up, would avoid if you’re a student.

   Sabrina at Backstage might be the best barber in Edinburgh. She’s been cutting my hair for years and always leaves me looking sharp and feeling better about myself. Appointments are 45 minutes (compared to 30 elsewhere), so she can take time with the scissors rather than just going in with the clippers. Top notch barber shop, top notch banter.

   Everything about this place is amazing : from the brand, to the quality of the haircut, to the whole experience in the shop itself. The owner personally deals with the haircuts and takes his time - he clearly cares about the haircut more than anything! And, there's free coffee too ;) Would definitely be back again.
