My son was in for a cut yesterday and he got exactly what he wanted. He is always disappointed at other barbers so we have found the one! Thanks lads.
Blair did a fantastic job on my partner's hair , really took his time and did a great job. Really friendly and great prices . Would highly recommend blacks . Will be back again.
I’m not from Edinburgh, but I stopped in for a cut with Jake while I was in town, and it was one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. He did an excellent job with a skin fade, and had some recommendations for how to cut it a little different than normal so that it would grow out better. I typically cut my hair every 2-3 weeks because I don’t like the way it grows out, but I ended up waiting 8 weeks because of Jake’s suggestions. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Edinburgh.
Fantastic haircut from Josh. I was greeted with an offer of tea or coffee, and he asked me a few questions to make sure he cut my hair like I wanted it. He took his time and did a really good job. Other than that the place has a nice atmosphere with good music playing. Highly recommended!
On a visit to Edinburgh myself and my son popped in here. Staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. There was no fear of getting a generic cut here.
Had my hair cut at Blacks on Monday afternoon by a young gent who had only been barbering for 11 months. The cut is awesome. His attention to detail was second to none and the welcome and approach through client consultation was great. I normally go to Ruffians in Edinburgh and London, but Blacks is a barber I will visit again as this is one of the best barbers now in Edinburgh. Lachlan... what ever you are doing, keep up the good work as you are doing everything right and so is your team.
So here's the deal. I have serious barber trust issues. Been using the same barber for the last 2 years, but he went on a 2 month holiday right before I was due a hair cut! I've been passing by Black's Barbers on my way to work and the shop always looked like it had a good vibe so I decided to give it a go. Gotta say, I wasn't very optimistic given my previous experiences with barbers but boy did they exceed my expectations! Absolutely fantastic, made my hair exactly how I wanted and dare I say even better! 100% recommend! They're very friendly, the vibe is chill and they make you feel welcome! Don't remember my barbers name (sorry!) but I'll be going back! (cringy picture below but it's a good haircut)
