Have been using this barbers since I was around 8 years old (34 now). No one ever recognises me haha!! God damn it man I remember Colin with a strong head of hair!! Mind you that was the 90s. Always a pleasure to have my haircut here
Extremely disappointed with the haircut. I went there having asked for a low taper fade, however came back with a skin fade which has ruined the texture of my hair and makes me look awful. The haircut isn't even tidy. Would not recommend the place to anyone. Poor interior and poor haircut. Be careful!!
Nick and Stephen are absolute saints with my toddlers who loathe getting their hair cut. My boys wiggle, and scream and cry, and they are incredibly patient and kind and gentle with them both. Stephen especially, has the touch of an experienced father. When they say anyone and everyone is welcome, they really do mean it. Also, incredibly reasonable prices. An Edinburgh gem for sure.
Love this homely little barbershop, the haircuts by Nick and Stephen are great, and it’s always fun chatting with them. Highly recommend to any students here in Edinburgh!

Despite countless visits to Edinburgh, today was a first visit to Woods Barbers. The quality of cut was exceptional and top marks for the prices too. £12 for a hair cut in the middle of Edinburgh surely has to be unbeatable. Great conversation too! Look forward to returning.
