Benjamin barbershop is the best to go for a haircut. People are nice there. One of the owner has a dog which he’s so cute.
Best barber shop in Edinburgh. I’ve been coming here for 9 years. You won’t find better. The standard of the cuts, friendliness of the guys and feel of community in this shop is unrivalled. Ben is the beating heart of this place. He’s an absolute master and all round brilliant dude. I’ve also been cut by Ali, Matt and Dan who I trust completely when I can’t book in with Ben. A special shout out to Matt - booked in with him a few months back. Had an absolute blast with him and a great cut. Despite me being one of Ben’s regulars he knew exactly what I normally ask for. Unbelievable! Can’t recommend this shop enough, definitely check them out.
A monthly visit to Benjamin’s has become a highlight of father-son bonding. Lovely, and hilarious, gentlemen in here. Dan gets my heid done precisely in about 15 minutes, while Matt is a diplomatic genius, running the gauntlet between nine-year-old desire for a buzzcut with motherly concern brilliantly. Go here. It is good. You will get a good haircut. The end.
I’ve spent too long searching for a barber that knows how to cut and style curly hair, after this shop was mentioned (specifically Matt) by a friend- I was keen to try once more before I gave up and shaved my head. To say Matt understood the assignment is an understatement, my guy perfectly described the issues I’ve been having before I even started to complain about my experiences. Following a quick consult and some reference images, I was cut and shaped up within the hour. I can confidently say this is the most content I have ever been with a haircut. I will definitely be going back. I suggest you check this place out if you have been struggling to find a good barber that actually listens. Thanks again!
We've been to Benjamin's 4 times now and we've always had Ali because he's FANTASTIC!! He has given my son the best haircuts, really professional and very talented. He really knows what he's doing and he's now our official barber. Love him!!! Highly recommended and if I could give more than five stars, I would. A good hair person is so worth their weight in gold!!

Favorite barber in Edinburgh by a long shot. Been to Matt a couple times now. Both occasions he's taken his time to give me a real nice, traditional skin fade, good chat, but doesn't chew your ear off either. Tried a couple other barbershops in Edinburgh around the same price range and none were even in the same league. This is the only barber shop I'll be going to for future cuts in Edinburgh!
