Turned up at 4.20 for cut on a Thursday. Shop all barred up. Staff inside but didn't come out to speak to me. Meant to be open until 7pm. I'd taken a bus to get to the shop. Wasted time. No cut. Not pleased.
Impressed with the service and attention to listening to what kind of cut I wanted. Friendly atmosphere, and as previously mentioned, great banter. Would definitely use as my regular barber.

First hair cut in this hairdressers and what a difference from my previous cuts even the wife notices as soon as I got home. Great to find a local gents hairdressers with great staff who knows what they are doing. Great chat and very busy...
After reading so many good reviews, decided to go.and it was disaster.ended up coming back home and fixing my hair with my own clipper. As others say the lady owner looks like a good hairdresser,but the guy who made my haircut, shouldn't be allowed to cut customers yet.Maybe he is a student,but in this case customers need to be warned and definitely not charged for a job which is absolutely unacceptable.1hr took him to cut my hair and i was telling him constantly where he made mistakes ,as for him it looked good. Worst experience in 20 years. If i want to become a training dummy for students I will go to the barber's academy or college and wont get charged for this. 0 stars
Only been about 3 times but found this on a drive round. I have the same lady every time as she is absolutely brilliant. First haircut was good and now I love it. And a very good hairdresser to have the small talk with and she is gorgeous too.
Terrific friendly banter from all the staff on duty at the time you arrive. Well experienced cutters/barbers. Fabulous value for money. Worth noting, this is a barbers, so will not serve females even if wanting a number one haircut by clippers (sorry)
