   I really wanted to love this salon after hearing all the great reviews, but unfortunately my experience didn’t live up to the hype. The colour turned out quite dull, even though I explained clearly what I wanted and showed photos for reference. The fringe cut was particularly disappointing, it looked uneven, as if two pieces had just been chopped at the front without any layering or blending into the rest of my hair. To make matters worse, some of my grey roots started showing again just a week later, so the colour coverage clearly wasn’t strong enough. I also spent a long time there that day, and honestly, it just didn’t feel worth it in the end. Perhaps I was just unlucky with the stylist I had, but overall I left feeling really disappointed.

   First time at the salon and had a great experience with Hayley. I’d had my colour done elsewhere and wasn’t happy with it so had a consultation with Hayley who listened to me and worked out what the issue was and a plan to fix it. Went back for a cut and colour and so happy with the result. Lovely salon, everyone very welcoming and reasonable prices too.

   First time visiting and I had a bouncy blow dry by Sara- looked fabulous and lasted all through the event I was off too. Sara took her time and really made my hair look it’s best. Lovely salon with a friendly atmosphere and professional service. Would definitely recommend!

   My coworker recommended this salon, and I am SO happy that I went. Tegan did a wonderful job and my hair looks better than ever! The salon is lovely, I really enjoyed the experience, and both Tegan and Alex are clearly experts in what they do. Highly recommended!

   Alex has done my hair since for 8 years and never failed my hair always looks amazing. Tegan and Alex are both excellent hairdressers cannot recommend them enough they can carry out every hair colour and style.

   This was my first time doing my hair at the Gloss House Salon and it was such a lovely experience! Teagan is extremely professional and understood what I wanted very well! She had great knowledge and gave me good advice and gave me the most gorgeous Balayage and cut! Would definitely recommend!

   Every time I visit The Gloss House I feel so welcomed and comfortable. Alex and Tegan are so attentive and whoever you book will really focus on you for the whole appointment - listening to what you'd like but also helping to guide you with their expert knowledge. I've been getting my hair cut/styled by Alex for over 5 years and I've also had it cut by Tegan, both are super professional and amazing at what they do. The salon itself is clean, stylish and comfortable with access to a bathroom should you need to use it :) It's also just across the road from the Lyceum and a stone's throw from a range of bus routes, so it's really easy to get to! I would highly recommend visiting them, the prices are great value and I'm sure you'll leave feeling amazing. They are also both really friendly and easy to talk to. Thanks Alex and Tegan! Kelly x

   This salon is just Amazing!!! Alex and Tegan are both fantastic hairdressers,experts on colour and all the latest styles. The shop has a great vibe and you are made to feel welcome. I am extremely fussy about my hair but the girls always do such a great job and explain everything before hand. I am always getting compliments on my colour and I am more than happy to highly recommend the girls!!! Definitely a HUGE 5 stars from me!!!
