    My husband used to get his beard and hair done at Stag and recommended them for me to try as a hairdresser once we moved back to Edinburgh. So glad I did! Florence especially has done an amazing job with my haircuts, and I've been so pleased each time I've gone. I recommended them to a friend and they also said they'd had the best haircut they'd ever had. At risk of making it harder to get a booking, I very much recommend Stag (and Florence)!

    Michael gave me a fantastic curly cut. I've been going to a curly cut place in New Town for a couple of years and have never really been happy with it, but thought that must be how my hair is. Not the case....my new cut is full of layers and it now shapes/frames my face properly instead of hanging heavy. It was an enjoyable experience with all the little touches like the head massage and Michael is lovely and has a very calming demeanor, I'll definitely be back.

    Used Stag barber and co Haymarket after being it being recommended from a friend and my sibling, what an amazing hairdressers! Very very happy with my haircut that Mai did, she was very gentle and kind. The environment was queer friendly, and sensory pleasing for neurodivergent people such as myself. Nice ambient lighting not too harsh or bright, and nice music playing that's not too loud. Would highly recommend this place to anyone definitely will be visiting again ❤️

    I’ve been going to Stag since it opened in Lady Lawson street many years ago. I have visited many many times and every one has been wonderful. A great vibe, lovely people, and I have always been delighted with the end result. I always leave feeling confident and with my head held high. Highly recommended.     First of all I want to say that this review is long overdue as I’ve been having my hair cut by Lo for many years now. But what prompted me to finally write this is that when I went in yesterday I was feeling quite stressed, and I was reminded that not only is Lo a fantastic stylist but she’s a genuinely lovely human being too. Not only did I receive another great haircut (literally never had a bad one from Lo over the years despite having thinning, fine hair and an ageing face!). But I also received comfort and kindness when she could see I was feeling quite emotional. Thank-you Lo for always being your funny, kind and talented self x

She was so friendly and professional and accomplished brilliantly a range of styles, keeping my curls in place all day, giving our bridesmaid an up-do-with-undercut and styling my wife an extremely handsome quiff.
