First time here, and to be honest I was disappointed. Popped in for lunch and it was quiet. After ordering we had to wait just over half an hour for our meals. The burgers were just okay, tasted like frozen burgers from the supermarket. The staff were not overly friendly or engaging. I doubt I will be back

Food really good. Husband had steak sizzler and I had scampi then mini chocolate brownie with ice cream. A big thank you to the Chefs for our food, Sophie & Alex. Our server was Eilidh who is always bright and bubbly. Thank you to the bar staff (sorry not sure of their names) for my Irish Coffees. Only down side is that the booth that had been reserved for us ended up being occupied. Other than that, it was an extremely pleasant evening.

Great friendly & helpful staff. Had lovely lunch, which was good value. And the toliets we're nice & clean. All round a great place for a affordable meal with family.

Ordered the award winning steak and rudders ale pie. It was some experience, I haven't had a steak so soft before.. I just hope these weren't bought in. For a starter I went for the haggis fritters, which where lovely. The batter being a little greasy, maybe oil needing redone in the morning. Anyway, today a different selection and loved every bit.

Been a few times and has always been great. Had a great lunch at Oystercatcher. Tasty food with good portion sizes, good Beer, good kids Menu and play area. The Ladies who were serving were very friendly and the service was great. I don’t know their names but thank you to the Lady with Red Hair and the Lady with the Guinness Tshirt.

Just had a nice meal at the oystercatcher. Smothered sizzle steak very tasty, my husband did think his meal was lacking the cheese that was described on the menu but overall everything was tasty. Service at the bar from Rebecca was excellent and friendly

Was in today Tuesday 29th with my wife. Staff were very nice and cuteous at all times, and very well presented. We had breakfast which was really different to a normal scottish breakfast , and couldn't fault the food, service ,prices and generally the whole establishment, very tidy and with a nice feel to it. I'll definitely be back again. Thank you to the staff and management

came for breakfast and usually is good. However plate roasting and food was lukewarm. Paid extra for black pudding which was inedible as it was stone cold. Staff usually come by to check how things are but no one did.

We had a large family gathering in the Oystercatcher and won’t be back. Management have to train their staff to have at least basic customer service skills. I was speaking to other customers while waiting to be served and they said the exact same thing. No point in having staff behind the bar if they are just watching everyone else work! Also manners go a long way in the hospitality industry, staff also need trained on this!
