   I took my car to this garage recently to repair a slow puncture. Over the phone, I was told there was a nail in the wall of the tyre and that it couldn't be repaired, so l'd need a new tyre. When I collected the car and asked for an explanation (since the exact same thing had happened to me at this garage several years ago), the story changed - I was then told the damage was actually on the bottom of the tyre and that driving it flat for about 100 metres had caused the issue.my tyres were replaced only 3 months ago. After the first experience years ago, I spoke with a former employee who told me the company encouraged staff to push for unnecessary tyre replacements. Because of that, I avoided this garage for a long time, but I returned this time as it was the only one open on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the same thing seems to have happened again. Based on both experiences, l'd advise anyone using this garage to ask to see the damage for themselves before agreeing to any replacement work. ↓

   Tell the staff what you would like. They look it up on their computer and show you a few different options, prices, quality, pick whichever best suits you, and they'll go get the item, and then pay for it and way. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. If the item is not in they will order it for you and give you a text when the item is ready for collection.

   Ordering for collection is great and can’t fault the Screwfix brand. However the staff in this branch were less than helpful at my collection and behaved as if they were being forced to serve the public rather than trying to welcome customers and enjoy their jobs. Language was a bit choice from behind the counter area as well with colleagues messing about with each other. I’ll be avoiding this branch as much as possible and using one of the many other more friendly, helpful, professional, welcoming branches.

   Absolutely shocking customer service. Was spoken to like i did not matter and was spoken over so many times. Given attitude by the younger woman who served me. I was in collecting for my diasbled brother in law and this is how i was treated. Certainly wont be back to this store.

   The best customer service I have received in quite some time. I ordered an item online for same day collection. Due to traffic, I arrived just after 16:00hrs and the store closed at 16:00hrs. The staff were outside just about to lock up and initially told me they were closed. However, when I was walking away, the manager (I presume, as he had the keys) asked if it was an online collection. When I said yes, he opened the shop back up and went back in to collect my item. This was above and beyond what I would have expected and saved me a lot of trouble. Overall, great shop but even better staff. Thank you.
