1. Truth Matters ★☆☆☆☆

   Def the worst ASDA I've ever been to. It starts with accessibility- you must walk up hill to enter. Small trolleys impossible to get, only big ones or baskets, in terrible condition. Place is very confined, even with few people outside busy hours you need to squeeze yourself between two aisles if there's another customer. Lack of variety although still some good bargains for basic stuff. But the toilet situation is criminal. You need to ask for a key each time- not very hygienic but then why the heck does the alarm have to go off- so loudly it's deafening, so long, each time you go in and get out of the area?? Install CCTV cameras, get security, find the vandals, report them, please- but do NOT punish your own CUSTOMERS for others' anti-social behaviour! The air-"fresheners" /(one of the main indoor air polluters) fragrances are unbearably strong, too. Just clean and ventilate the loos, please. The whole toilet situation itself is a massive put-off from shopping there.

   It’s decent for quick top-up shops, but definitely not ideal for a big family shop. Probably better heading to The Jewel or Aldi for that.

   Locked toilets due to bored teenagers causing grief! Not great for those with accessibility issues or toilet training toddlers. Had to ask for the key and multiple alarms went off when trying to use it. Why not hire some security, rather than make life difficult for customers.

   A small place that you are to find the basic needs you require. I thought it would be a bigger place, disappointed I was. Still you are to find a variety of things for your day to day shopping. Shelves are a bit packed, spaces between the isles are somehow tiny, I know they are trying to benefit from each inch. The good thing is a decent size parking and a fuel pump too.

   It's a wee bit smaller than some (most) if the Asda's, but it had everything I needed the staffed petrol station is a great bonus

   This Asda is neglected by the owners I think. It looks terrible. Some shelfs are empty, might be because of Brexit but I've been in other stores where the same shelves are not empty. The only redeeming factor is that most of the staff are brilliant, very helpful and it seem happy.

   This supermarket has crammed a lot of different products into quite a small floor space, it's in a handy location with ample parking and benefits from the petrol station next door where the petrol prices are as competitively priced as any in the surrounding area. The prices are great and what you've come to expect from a leading brand like Asda. There were no queues and we found plenty of friendly helpful staff available too.

   Visiting friends so wanted to buy flowers and wine which was successful. My only critism was that they didn't have a plastic flower bag so had to use paper towel to stop the drips.

   Xmas eve and me and my 5 year old are walking out the store when John of the tranent store who was dressed as santa on a break so not in full out fit but clearly had made a great effort walks over and hands my daughter a £10 gift voucher with a thank you from the store for being their customers and to have a great Xmas which I have never seen happen before it was such a nice gesture and very impressed at the effort not just by John but all of the staff who are working on Xmas eve every one all dressed up and making a great effort well done folks and thanks again
