   Awful experience. I found a woman's wallet on floor. Gave it to a scruffy looking 'manager' who said he'd 'keep in drawer then put in lost n found' till anyone claims it. No thanks, didn't bother to go on tannoy to check if someone was still in store. I should have handed it into a bank or police station. He wouldn't take my number (if that happened to me, l'd want to thank the honest person or even give a small reward, which l wouldn't accept) He was sooooo dismissive, bordering on rudeness. Never entering that place again

   Check your chicken - I purchased chicken breasts dated use by 29/01/2023 - today is 26/01/2023 I opened them to use them and the smell from them nearly made me throw up. I stored them in a cold fridge. Disgusting and really not surprised at all - this Sainsbury shop is so dysfunctional no date rotation on loads of items although the chicken date was not the issue it was the product inside was ROTTEN!

   The big supermarket is conveniently situated at Meadowbank Shopping Park just off London Road. There are some high street shops: TK Maxx, Poundstretcher, M & S clothes outlet etc with a huge parking area around. Spacious and clean superstore with a clear layout. Pizza, bakery and Lloyd's pharmacy departments. Wide range of alcoholic beverages. However, not many offers are available at the moment, and some products are more expensive than in other supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco for comparison. So there's always room for improvement, indeed.
