   It’s the nearest Aldi (Gorgie)so just sometimes, I have no other choice but go here. Staff look like they are having fun chatting to themselves (on their headset) and the customers are only interrupting them. When I showed (I obviously didn't have an opportunity to ask) from the distance that I need a bag, the staff, after a quick glance at my shopping on a self-checkout till, gave me the bag that he judged, I need. Without words or looking at me. I think it’s just not even a minimum. It’s below zero service in this shop. To clarify, he wasn't overly busy with anything else, except assisting by the self-checkout area. Oh, and a chat of course. Be prepared for the worst of the manners ever, if you decide to go there.

   Medium sized discount supermarket. Popped in for a sandwich and a drink and was very pleased with the price and quality. Loses a star for having the worst self service tills in town and there are rarely and staff on the ordinary tills. The doors on the Gorgie Road side of the building are always locked for some reason.

   This super market seems to be the cheapest around Edinburgh. It does have all groceries, fruits, vegetables, meats, alcoholic drinks etc. Though in some sections you may not find your item either its being sold or not available. Overall all necessities are found here. Price is reasonable. Had a good experience here.

   Got a nasty paper cut on my finger in aldi whilst shopping and it was a mission getting a plaster. I asked the gitl stocking up she said to go to the till and the girl will give you it. My finger bled whilst I waited to be served and for a plaster. Lack of health and safety for consumers.

   Long queue made me pick up small bag of sweets zero sugar variety at checkout... SHOULD COME WITH WARNING to read the back & note that 75g is excessive! Don't eat this small bag :-(

   Unfortunately always served by a very rude and curt employee at the tills, who seems miserable for no reason. Finally got managed to see his name badge today - Mark Deputy Store Manager, shame.

   Update - Finally. Self checkout has arrived. Old - No fuss. Quality foods than their competitors at a reasonable price. Only drawback of this store is lack of self checkout(hence, 4 stars). And will be only 1 counter open for billing always. Only in worst cases the count increases to 2. I have never seen all 4 functioning at same te till date.
