This is such a terrible shop. They have very limited products available and it is poorly laid out. Good luck getting through the tills without an issue requiring an attendant who takes hours to come. Well worth the walk down to Waitrose.
Convenient, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. I like the size of this Tesco – I can find most things I need without faffing about. Staff usually know when they’ll have stuff back in stock. The location is such that I can just have a wander around in my pajamas without turning heads.
It's a great Tesco! Especially with a really crap Sainsbury's nearby. The store has pretty much everything you need. It's understaffed and at times, messy. I'm really pleased about it! Great gluten free selection too
Why is the Evri printer never working at this store? It has been like this for around 6 months. Now the handwritten note has been upgraded to a printed one!
DO NOT DO EVRI PARCELS HERE! On 10+ occasions in the last few months they have not taken them. Occasionally it’s the machine is out of paper, but sometimes they don’t give a reason at all. I know machines break, but I’ve never seen it like this in any other shop, only Tescos (mainly this one). Do not bother lugging your parcels here. Royal Mail takes Evri now and are just down the road. My boyfriend and I started making bets about whether it’d be broken or not- we even tried to find a way around it by printing the labels at home and half the time they still don’t take them from you. Aside from that, the shop is very expensive and poorly stocked.
Worst store every after they made it card only at self serve tills if you want to pay cash you have to wait at kiosk for someone to serve you usually the staff who helps at self serve but if something errors at self serve you have wait for staff to be finished at kiosk. Looks like only two maybe three staff working very unprofessional. Use to be able to buy topup mobile vouchers at self serve now you cant, this was the only place that let you buy them at self serve. Will never go back. If option was available to give it less stars would have.
Super handy Tesco with super polite staff! Was in need of flowers for student film and the store colleagues couldn't have been more helpful, as they donated several discounted bouquets - free of charge! Thank you Ross.
Got bit of everything as youd expect. Good bread section, beers seem to be 10% higher than other Tescos. Sweets section is bit hidden randomly, you'll lose your kids trying to find it. Good parking for that location. Give lunchtime a swerve, 2 big schools nearby.
Indignant rude service from "Jess". Didnt want to help me with difference in store price from web price (frequent problem here, but usually quickly resolved with store giving web pricing). She tried suggesting deal may only be in England because of minimum unit pricing - when surrounded by money off deals for alcohol. Finally agreed to check price at till and sneered seeming delighted when it was £5 more than online. It it was a busy time I could understand brushness, but my request interrupted a chat she and her colleague were having about how quiet it had been all day.
Good location for students. It has hot stuff during lunch time and good deals. Only problem is that most of the stuff has mayo (only two cold things don’t). Would be awesome if they made a wider range of no Mayo things. Staff is really good and helpful.
