   This is my type of super market. It has a washroom, fitting room , plenty of space, friendly staff and automated stairs. I bought milk and juice and staff helped me.

   Shop here all the time but not for much longer. Door from car park to lifts closed for more than 3 weeks, so no access from there and no info displayed. Lifts frequently not working. No info displayed. Downward trolley escalator not working. No info displayed. Staff not always super helpful anyway but can’t get any information on when this may be fixed. I’ll be doing my Christmas shop elsewhere. I suspect many others will too.

   Scanner packed up on me after I'd done most of shopping. Customer Service Rep said to put it back, and rescan, and it would reload my basket. It didn't. Fair enough. Not surprisingly I needed a service check. Unfortunately got a "manager". She was disinterested and unable to work the technology. Indicated that I then move to an adjacent till. Didn't explain that I'd need to complete the checkout again. Once explained, with a wave of her hand, the screen still showed it needed staff login, which she'd have noticed if she was remotely interested in doing her job. I shop here weekly, for my elderly Mum. Most of the staff I've dealt with have been pleasant, although clearly under pressure. Apparently 'management ' take a more blasé approach to their role.

   Big shop but security guards are horrible!! I have never stolen and yet they still follow me about everywhere. I can’t get any peace constantly feel like they are stereotyping me because of my looks and it’s a horrible feeling! The security guards definitely put me off coming here definitely won’t be returning because of them.

   Decent food, good selection, obviously often dearer than ASDA, Lidl, Aldi etc. Cheaper than M&S. Tend to buy the products I can't get elsewhere. Remember to use your nectar cards.

   What's happened to that shop? It used to be OK. Now some staff are rude and when the shop is quiet no-one is bothered to come to the tills - you're supposed to go through self-checkout even with a trolley full of groceries. Is there a manager there?

   I was in their Longstone branch today, 15/12/22 and was served buy a woman on the tills, who, frankly is in the wrong job as her customer service skills are zero. I asked her a simple question and she shrugged her shoulders and aggressively said " I don't know" and gave me a filthy look. I had only asked her if she had a bag big enough to put a thick shirt in that I had purchased. I did not get her name but she was middle-aged and had blue hair. Perhaps this person would be an ideal candidate to attend a customer service course. Callum
