   Bought a pair of shoes last week, the insole on the right shoe started slipping after a couple of days, making my toes hit the sole which made walking extremely uncomfortable. When I readjusted the insole it slips again within 10 minutes. Went back to the store today to ask for some assistance, I still have the box and receipt, the store assistant and manager said that insoles aren't covered under manufacturers warranty. And then proceeded to upsell me some replacement insoles. I would call it OK if the shoes were old, but they were bought a week ago?!!! Why do I already need new insoles.

   Scam artists! At no point during buying a product was I told or shown signs that there don’t offer returns. Upon turning an item they refused to give a refund which is missold goods as that policy should have been disclosed at the point of purchase. Staff were rude and argumentative so avoid Hemel store!

   The store itself is fine. However the pin on Google Maps for this store is in completely the wrong place. It looks like it's outside, quite a way from the Marlowes shopping centre, when in fact it in indoors, inside the shopping centre itself.

   If I could rate this no stars at all, I would. Absolutely disgusting service. The store manager employee number 56871 provided me absolutely disgusting service. No refund for a faulty product. I kept telling her that the item isn't as described on the label. It was a glove that was supposed to work on mobile screens but it did not. And I kept telling her I was claiming my Consumer Rights under the law. She said it was their policy and the company as big as them will not make legal errors. So shocked by this. They think they are above the law. The manager is an absolute joke! Rude, arrogant and an absolute uneducated woman who just did not want to accept the fact that they were wrong in making such polices. Don't ever buy anything from them!

   Mediocre excuse of a shop! Poor customer service. They claim to have a no refund policy in place since the 80s. We were shocked when the store refused a refund today, and Michelle the shift manager blatantly advised that its the customer's responsibility to be aware of the return policy and read up what was merely a blur of sign at till point. Appaling! For everyone out there, avoid at all costs and if you don't, then study the signs in this store as it's a plot to refuse a refund. I will be taking this further. Considering retailer's days like this are numbered, I am surprised there is no shift in their attitude. Thank goodness for Amazon, never again!

   Do not buy from this retailer if you ever want a refund on the goods purchased. I bought a pair of running leggings - poor quality & they didn’t fit properly. I took them back expecting a refund but they don’t give refunds!!!! They give exchanges for similar, poor quality, clothing or a credit note. Im now stuck with a credit note that i don’t want and can’t use!!! I will not be buying from this retailer again.

   Visited multiple times in the last few months and am so impressed. The staff on the shop floor kindly offer help when you're wandering, and when you want to try shoes on they instantly get them out the back for you. When I asked for advice on different types of shoes they gave me excellent advice. The staff on the till were excellent. One lady especially made a trip, as she made my dad and I laugh and made me feel like my custom was appreciated. The shop is well stocked and every time it had exactly what I needed. The manager and team at this store are doing a great job and deserve praise from Head Office.
