Great store but no phone signal and WiFi NEVER WORKS so cannot use the Aldi app to see my shopping list.

A bit disappointing in the range of food stuffs compared to other Aldi shops visited in other times of the year and places in the U.K.. Like many, they seem to be stuck in a 'between phase'... starting 'early Christmas stuff' already, fitting in 'Halloween produce', getting rid of 'summer things' at the same time, so it is a wee bit mixed up. Fewer fresh MSC (Marine Stewardship Council)/ ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) fish and similar produce than previous visits to other Aldi shops. Fewer delicatessen products. A much increased range of vegan and vegetarian 'alternatives' (mimics of omnivore foods). Still, one of the best of the big supermarkets, but got a 'one visit impression' that it is offering less variety. Extremely limited fairtrade (Fairtrade International) options, with only one range of chocolate bars and no freeze dried coffee granules (the podless people still buy it); with many more Rainforest Alliance certified products. No organic (Soil Association) whole milk, only de-fatted options, which is always disappointing. Anyway... still some nice offers.

I am from the USA and I called this place because I follow a man on YouTube Jonathan Clarke (if you're not following him then you need to, he's from over there) he's awesome. He has this awesome looking protein pudding that he eats, and I wanted it, but they don't sell it here in the USA. So I called this place looking for answers, and the lady I spoke to was very courteous and helped me out. Much love to that lady and this particular ALDIS from across the pond!

With regards to the food, excellent choices. It was nice to have different items from the normal and at good prices. Six Chinese porks steaks on offer at 2.79, normally 5.79, can't go wrong. A baby changing / toilet was a welcoming addition. Downsides would be a male staff member with the ponytail pushed my trolley back to get his big crate in and I stumbled back, he never considered my arthritic knees. Not happy with the usual self checkouts so I waited for a staff member to come to the tills. All round though it's my new shopping place, I may even get the chance to push that guy back.

Big fan of how since they installed self-checkouts they literally never have anyone at actual checkouts anymore. Also really cool how if they aren’t moving 1000 of a product in a day they’ll stop stocking it. An extra star because the 3 whole staff members they have working at any point are usually nice, if exhausted.

Fruit and vegetables seem fresh and tasty. Beware some of the meat in the ready meals, they are cheap but their meat is poor quality.

Well stocked and organised and the young lady who served us was delightful (red hair, late teens/early twenties) and took time to ask every customer how they were Good prices as well

It's OK. The fresh and chilled foods are decent quality and good value. Not always the cheapest in the area, though. Hate the crazy opening and closing of checkouts. Substantial queues build up before another checkout is opened. Then closed again only to be reopened a few minutes later. If dynamic till operation is going to work, someone has to pay attention and stay on top of the situation. It shows a lack of respect for the customer.

Loved this whole experience, I went at rush hour time but it was very pleasant all shelves were stocked could find what i needed and wanted to buy, store was clean and tidy, when reaching the checkout there was not a long wait and person serving was smiley, helpful and polite very good experience
